Could someone forward the results of this poll onto the club? 93% is very resounding.

At the very least could it be forwarded to the LET - would they make a story of it? I don't know what their agenda is regarding the situation though, maybe they don't want to rock the boat. Any Rovers fan working there should have a moral obligation to use their power to convey the fans' feelings though.

Cryer was probably as critical as he could have been in his match report today.

Reading the national Press today shows just what a joke Kean has become among the journalistic fraternity. They can all see that the guy is deluded and that he is becoming increasingly detached from the reality of the situtation. He keeps on about the wonderful home record over the past 40 games or so and it never occurs to him that he has only won TWO homes matches since he became manager. We were a fortress under Sam, Mr. Kean but under your stewardship we are something of a soft touch at home - or have you forgotten Newcastle, Blackpool and Birmingham so soon.

It's little wonder that Venky's have become a national figure of fun with the British media. To replace an experienced manager with Kean shows just how inept these people really are. No other club in the Premier League would have employed Kean as manager apart from the Lady in Pune who prides herself on her decision making ability. It would seem to be on the same level as Kean's, perhaps that's why they get on so well together. Sadly, this once proud club is dragged into the gutter on almost a daily basis by the media because of our our clueless owners and their puppet manager. The media are quite right to point out what a shambles we have become since Venky's took over. Mrs Desai and her brothers can't get enough bad press for me when I think of what they have done to this club.

Personally, I believe that Kean should have gone after the debacle at Villa but even if we get rid at the end of season, who, in their right mind, would want to come and work for owners like Venky's and their favourite agents at Kentaro?

If, by some fluke, we stay up, it will because of the efforts of the likes of Samba, Robinson and Salgado to galvanise their colleagues into scrambling to safety. The sort term future of the club is in the balance, the long term future looks increasingly bleak no matter what the outcome of this relegation battle.

Tony Barrett in The Times:

'Kean had nothing but a clutch of excuses and a patchwork of fantasy.

Reality is biting Blackburn Rovers, the flood waters are engulfing them. Their manager, though, insists that there is nothing to worry about. That is the most worrying element of all'

I've been saying for a while now, that unless Kean and the players realise the danger we're in, they can't do anything about it.

"we didn't discuss relegation" Grrrrr.

Remember Sam (when he was manager) talking about the potential impact of relegation for us - saying a lot of good people at the club would lose their jobs if we went down. He said he and the players had a responsibility not to let that happen.

Does Kean not realise what is going on here? Does he not have any pride about letting a good club be relegated which would quite possibly lead us on the road to financial ruin - this man needs to wake the bloody hell up and take some responsibility here - this is not about him or his agent earning any more money now.

All these new contracts in January shows you can't buy respect/love, also, the fact they apparently do not have relegation clauses within them will likely spell disaster.

If he was a man, he wouldve resigned cause he KNEW he isnt a manager.

More interested in picking up a fair whack and waiting until he gets the chop (and a big pay-off), as I would assume his name is now mud in football circles.

He really is Professor BS, the poison pill(garlic) our esteemed, venerable, knowledgeable owners forced us to take.

Venky's are sitting on their hands as Captain Spin assures us the Americans are nowhere near Baghdad.

Our club has been tucked up nicely, and I'm really angry about it.

He won't resign, why would he? Regadless of what the fans think/know, he will believe that he has the ability to be a decent maanger.

If Kean takes us down, he will still look back and say, "that was the greatest achievement of my life"

and its true, he can always say he was Blackburn manager, he went from failed assistant mangager, to a first team coach to a PL Manager.

Why does Kean feel the need to state, every time he speaks to the press, that the squad are together?

"We'll just pick ourselves up and work in training on the bits of the second half which we weren't happy with, but we were excellent in the first half.

"We've got a really good group, there are no factions or any chance of it splintering in any way - they are very together."

I know, this is the most irritating thing to hear. He always goes on about how 'together' the team are and how hard they work on the training ground, but fails to open his eyes to the togetherness that has seen us go on the worst run in 25 years. He uses the draw against Blackpool to accentuate his point...if you look at their recent form a scrambled home draw is a terrible result and had we have picked up the 3 points, we would be in a much better position than we are now.

His training ground has not benefitted us in the slightest since his reign and it was that abject performance against Villa after 2 weeks on his famous training ground (one of which was in Dubai) that alerted me to his complete ineptitude. He even stated himself that he had worked for 2 weeks to cope with the pace of Villa and especially Ashley Young. His work on the training ground obviously told him that starting with the premierleague's slowest ever team was a good way to go about this. Bewildering to say the least.

Kidd was very similar to Kean in that he kept going on about being together, then Kidd after one of the last matches just flipped and slaughtered the players.

I think the draw against bpool and Arsenal gave the manager scope to make such claims, I for one couldn't argue with his point after those 2 games.

But I think the Everton game has now highlighted that the team are devoid of any idea whatsoever, low on confidence and tactically he’s not at the races. It seems the Brum game has knocked the stuffing out of them, or his training ground ethos really isn’t working.

I think you are right Gav, Birmingham match has hit confidence of the players big time. Kean had built up that game as one that had been targeted as a “must win”, on the back of the Arsenal result players were confident but when we didn't win then it deflated the players. After Birmingham Kean said that the players were “a bit flat” after that result. Judging by Saturday’s result it seems that they were more than a “bit flat” and he has not been able to lift them (in terms of confidence) for the Everton game.

Now he is in huge, huge trouble. He does not have the managerial experience to deal with this kind of situation, so he is trying to come out all positive and unconcerned about relegation, problem is players reading the papers will lose even more faith in him. Anyone with football managerial experience would be handling the situation differently to the way Kean is handling it, sometimes players need a kick up the backside and a little bit of pressure put onto them (Sam did when he said that relegation would cost people jobs etc).

We are in deep, deep trouble. Only way we can get out of this is that players like Samba, Salgado, Nelsen and Dunny take control of the situation and rally the troops into a couple of MASSIVE performances.

I was for recruiting Holloway. Still am. He's a good motivator and understands the game. He's worked miracles at Blackpool. Even if they are relegated (and despite my fondness for Blackpool I hope they are now, as we need to have three+ clubs stumble to ensure our own survival), Holloway will have earned every penny he was paid.

holloway has lost the plot... couple of really disrespectful pre and post match interviews. i found him entertaining for the 1st part of the season, but since november he's turned childish and vindictive and insulting (and at times personal to some reporters).

obviously believes his own publicity.

Kean doesn't even seem to acknowledge that we're in a relegation fight. Just seems to ignore it by coming out with things such as 'we're unbeaten in 3' (well whoopy bloody do!)
