Mattyblue Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 No they won't, they would struggle to keep up with other clubs due to a lack of WHL capacity, but 'screwed', will they buggery.

Hughesy Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 im a keep him, as i dont think he will get sacked and there's not anyone to replace him, as ive said numerous times. Its not about do you 'think we will keep him' - its whether you think we should or shouldnt.... As for nobody about - Sam, O' Neill, Ranieri, McLaren would all surely do a much better job? Sam id appoint for the remaining 5 games - with a nice ££££££ carrot on the end if we gain survival....he would keep us up!
A cup of beans Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 No they won't, they would struggle to keep up with other clubs due to a lack of WHL capacity, but 'screwed', will they buggery. levy budgeted all his major redknapp signings for champ lge footballm and the olympic stadium or a redevoloped white-hart lane. fact! check the articles and spurs finances if you dont believe me
sambo Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 The Season ticket prices are relevant to how we're run, as it proved shrewd as it got fans into Ewood, the players mentioned having fans on all 4 sides of Ewood was a boost and contributed to our brilliant record at Ewood. A decision straight from John Williams. How is that not relevant to how well our club was ran? You're trolling, surely, questioning how Rovers were ran as a football club? Zero investment, Premier League football every year. It is most club's dream!
Mattyblue Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 They pay their top players not much more than we pay Pedersen and Salgado, but with a much bigger income.

imy9 Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Zac's entitled to his opinion but it is clear than 90% + now have little faith in Kean's ability to manage us, I am hopeful that there is enough character in the side to keep is up-just.
broadsword Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 and im sure the owners planned previously and do plan to replace kean then What makes you sure? They've done everything on the hoof so far. The only reason they haven't made any more rash, ill-advised and completely suicidal decisions is because after coming in, meddling to their heart's delight, they now realise they haven't a clue how to get out of this hole. And they're a) too proud, and too paralysed by the fear of making another cock-up to do anything. I did think it was too late at this stage, because I thought the rot had well and truly set in. But right up until Wolves away I think a change would help us. Anyone at all, instead of the imposter we currently have.
blue_and_white Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 SAM WILL NOT BE REHIRED.... ANYONE WHO SERIOUSLY THINKS HE WILL BE IS PUDDLED! Puddled like someone who doesn't think Rovers were well run under the Trust/Williams? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/422943-how-do-blackburn-rovers-stay-afloat Just read that.

Brfcrule1 Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Kamy100 can you let us know if & when star news come over to get fans reactions if it's near the bolton game that would ideal as I am up for that game.
JAL Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I've rarely known such collective agreement on this MB! Like many others, I can't bear to see Kean's face or listen to his voice. It's hard to believe that one individual can engender such collective, and I do not like using this word to describe feelings about anyone, hate. If there is a protest before the match against City then I will be there as will a handful of others of my generation that I know - and boy, don't we know how to protest! Come this Easter monday evening, Stephen Kean and John Jensen will have nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide within in our ground. Then the Rovers faithful will decide their fate as the talking is all but over now.

A cup of beans Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 What makes you sure? just a feeling, bryan. from reading between the lines. like here; Venky's have told BRFCS that it is inconceivable that Kean would be sacked at this stage of the season
The Gull Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 im guessing you didnt witness brian kidd sell a premier league side and replace them with championship players to the tune of about £28 million ??? im a keep him, as i dont think he will get sacked and there's not anyone to replace him, as ive said numerous times. I was around long before Kidd, if that is supposed to be some sort of dig about being a fair weather fan then you couldn't be more wrong, whilst the Kidd era was bad it is nothing compared to the current feeling, and Kidd was still liked as a person just didn't have it as a manager. Kean is disliked for everything he does by an overwhelming majority that I have never seen the like of before, akin to Nick Clegg!
broadsword Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 just a feeling, bryan. from reading between the lines. like here; Venky's have told BRFCS that it is inconceivable that Kean would be sacked at this stage of the season Could be something and nothing.
rog of the rovers Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Voted to keep, but only because we've past the point of no return. No manager would move to us with the position we are in now. Kean is here til May at least. Just hope we can wriggle out of trouble!

"this level of disgust at the current manager is unknown of in my time as a Rovers fan." was your comment. most i spoke to at the time of kidd's reign were far more disgusted than they are now. millions squandered, a personal issue with not picking tim flowers, and the selling of other prem winners due to us beating united to the title. why do you dislike kean as a person ? not a trick question or a dig.

Shay Given wasn't a bad replacement. Are you seriously telling me he weakened the team deliberately because Rovers beat man Utd to the title? Which players? I'm havign a hard time believing that. Kidd was bad, but not as bad a sKean. he was also a straight-dealing fella, unlike Kean.
Kelbo Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 just a feeling, bryan. from reading between the lines. like here; Venky's have told BRFCS that it is inconceivable that Kean would be sacked at this stage of the season Yes but Venkys arent, as I have said previously, the sharpest knives in the drawer, tell you this, Kean wont get a decent job in football again after this, even as a coach, his card has been marked by many clubs!!
A cup of beans Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Shay Given wasn't a bad replacement. Bullshit, and I have been watching Rovers for over 50 years, this manager and owners are a pathetic excuse for the human race, the worst I have experienced in 50 years of watching Rovers, not by a yard but by a country mile!
Gav Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Voted to keep, but only because we've past the point of no return. No manager would move to us with the position we are in now. Kean is here til May at least. Just hope we can wriggle out of trouble! I voted to keep also, then I slept on it and wished I hadn't. It goes against everything I believe in to sack the manager at this stage, but the mans a fool, has no idea and should be sacked immediately.
broadsword Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 shay given didnt play in 98/99 season it was filan. im sure given was sold the season before, cos we had fettis etc... Apologies, I think you are right. did Filan save a penalty at Chelsea? Either way, I thought he was decent.
A cup of beans Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Are you seriously telling me he weakened the team deliberately because Rovers beat man Utd to the title? Which players? I'm havign a hard time believing that. he did weaken the team by getting rid of prem winners and replacing them with the mcateers, wards, carsleys etc... he certainly had issues with flowers... flowers in on the record as saying so. wilcox and sherwood have also said they felt forced out. Bullshit, and I have been watching Rovers for over 50 years, this manager and owners are a pathetic excuse for the human race, the worst I have experienced in 50 years of watching Rovers, not by a yard but by a country mile! bullshit ? really... ? spending £28m pounds and getting rid of your best players... did that not happen. "this manager and owners are a pathetic excuse for the human race" the mind boggles with this statement... have you had any dealings with them or people who have ??? before any1 asks i have. the doc and dave fevre!
