I'm fairly sure Kean and Jensen will stay. I just hope a miracle happens, and they improve next season. If not, the club is going down.

Whatever happens on Sunday there should be only one possible course of action, and that is to bring in a new manager,I know Keen has to keep talking positive, but at the end of the day the stats show that since the 23 Jan we have won one game of football, and we are in the middle of May,decision made, sack him......

I'm resigned to Kean staying as manager IF we stay up. We do have a fresh start, can spend money on good players, have good young uns coming through etc.Might work out I suppose.

However I very much fear another season of stress. Should this happen, I suspect fans will vote with their feet. At least there will be time for Venkys to act. We can't live on a knife-edge like this forever.

I really can't see how Venky's can justify keeping Kean on after this season regardless of result on Sunday, one victory in fourteen games is shocking form and has relegation written all over it next season, if we're lucky enough to stay up this time around. I can honestly say that I would take anyone over Steve Kean next season. I've stuck by him through the last ten games or so whilst we've had to show unity in order to get through this period, but as soon as the season's over, he needs to go and i'll be ranting and raving just like many others who feel as though Kean is currently well out of his depth as a Premier League manager.

Kean has got to go, it's as simple as that!!! If Rovers' stay up, credit should go to key players like Samba, the 2 Jones, hoillet and olsen!! Not Kean!!!

If you look at the last few matches against man city and utd, there has been a pattern with how the games panned out. in both games it seemed for the first 20 mins the players didnt have a clue what to do and who to mark, and it seemed the players actually sorted their own shape and gameplan out themselves to at times dominate chunks of each match!! if Kean is kept on, how many fans (ST holders) would be happy? Come on Venkys no matter what happens on sunday, you just gotta get rid of Kean and his monkey Jensen!!! Please god make this so!!!

BPF it was obvious at a quick glance there was never anything in the Rafa rumours if they were were subject as you claimed to various unenforceable conditions such as "money being available". How does that work exactly?

Plus no-one in the Press ever got a whiff of this supposed agreement and Guillem Ballague (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) specifically denied any link to Benitez whatsoever.

Quite why people are now wheeling out months old quotes in an attempt to prove Kean is unsackable is beyond me. Well it isn't, it's another excuse to have a pop at the owners.

Who's this "high ranking" person at the Club who's said Kean is unsackable anyway ? Ken Beamish?

Doesn't matter who it is anyway. It doesn't mean to say they're right.

I heard on TV over here during a game where one of the commentators stated that Steve Kean supposedly has the safest job in football. Where he heard it or why I don't know but I heard it. As for unsackable, I dunno, one could throw in the Drink Driving and fire him for some form of crime of moral perpetude. (sp)

Nothing was deleted, it was merely under review for a short while, it's been back ages.

You shouldn't be surprised that some are cynical. Some of the garbage posted on here by those "who are in the loop", are "well connected", "have on good authority" and "cant name sources" stopped being funny long ago.

I would doubt that I am alone in finding some of the agenda driven show offs on here extremely exasperating and stopped believing a single word they posted long ago.

as for Venkys, theyre not even capable of organising a schools trip to play football over here, forgot about Visas, what have we got as owners of our football club?

You've thrown this particular bit of mud on three different threads now, including the one you started just for that purpose.

So please could you provide the hard evidence that the people who have travelled to Blackburn have anything at all to do with Venky's?

They are of course from Pune, but Pune is a big place - 5.5 million people, making it double the population of the whole of Greater Manchester and 40 times bigger than Blackburn - and it would seem that the only influence the owners have had on this particular school trip is an indirect and very positive one - by spreading the gospel of BRFC into their home city because they own the club.

If QEGS go on a sports tour abroad and some of the paperwork is wrong, does that mean WEC Darwen or BAE Salmesbury take the blame as flagship local companies?

Tris, isn't it obvious that one of the 3 of them should have been queueing up at the British Consulate for 40 kids visas, and the fact that they didn't take time out from running a complex multinational to do so proves how stupid they are?

Have you considered it could be jealosy on your part. There are people who know things or have contacts within the club, that you wish you have.

Don't forget those same people said sam would be going and so would would John Williams. These things happened. But you chose to believe or not to believe these things happened. But I can assure you Sam and John Williams have gone, just as people said they would.

I'm not sure it's jealousy PAFELL. I can understand the frustration. Some posters clearly have insider information and their input is always very much appreciated by most people. But for every person who does have genuine connections, there are 5 more claiming to have their very own mole. Then follows numerous posts shrouded in mystery and intrigue. It are these, often carefully constructed posts which can be manipulated to mean any number of things which are the nuisance. When news does break all the dubious 'in the knowers' claim victory when in fact all they offered was some vague piece of text which can be construed anyway you want it to be. Its like reading the thoughts of Derek Acorah sometimes.

I think we all know who has produced bonafide information and i think we all show our appreciation. As you say, some people have stated things would happen and they have. Sadly others have a really poor sucess rate.

As for Steve Kean. Well the discussion is no further along really. I heard people talking about Steve McClaren ysterday and citing his Boro days as being poor. I think it is importatnt to remember that was his first managerial job too. Comparisions can be drawn to Kean being in his first job with Rovers. In that context you'd say that McClaren produced a far superior performance in his first job than Kean is doing. Albeit having spent £45m in tranfer fees in the process. I think the Venky boys and girls think they have a rough diamond in Kean. I would be very surprised if Kean isn't at the helm next season.

Considered it and dismissed it. Where do you get off telling me what I wish for btw?

If I could be @rsed I'd list you a number of things the well connected "elite" that I should be so jealous of have got completely wrong.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if you really did believe Maradonna was on his way.

Pretty accurate below - of course the Daily Telegraph must have an agenda....

Davies’s flying elbow

When Bolton’s Mark Davies received a second yellow for a raised arm against Phil Jones, it ironically cost Blackburn the game. While Owen Coyle brought on Fabrice Muamba to strengthen his midfield, Sam Allardyce went on the offensive, bringing on Mame Biram Diouf. The change left Blackburn unbalanced, and Muamba enjoyed the plentiful space to score Bolton’s first goal on their way to a 2-1 win.

The Venky’s takeover

The distracting talk about signing Ronaldinho, Beckham and the like; the squad’s uproar over Sam Allardyce’s sacking; the lack of strong leadership; an absence of killer instinct; Steve Kean’s overuse of the word ’positive’.

Most of Blackburn’s problems this season can be traced back to Venky’s decision to buy the club in October. At a time when consolidation was needed, the takeover has brought only turmoil.

Where the season went wrong

Or maybe after recent revelations, and the fact Allardyce now has several new suits for the summer, ALLEDGEDLY, the takeover was exactly what the club needed and the timing couldn’t have been better.

Its like reading the thoughts of Derek Acorah sometimes.

The issue for me is that often there is an inability to present information from genuine connections objectively and without applying any self conjecture. Thus it becomes too difficult to read what the actual information is and what part is that individual's take on it. Case in point was the Maradona story. There was obviously something going on with him at some point but the real story appeared to be that one of the Rao's was chasing him unilaterally and was being ignored by the others, thus it had no chance of happening.

It wasn't presented in this way originally. I would prefer to believe that is because the full story wasn't known at the time rather than it was misconstrued deliberately. Regardless, the unhelpful effect is the same and only detracts from genuine questions like why Venky's took out a mortgage on this years TV income that require more focus.

I sympathise to some degree because it is hard to be objective in the face of big changes at the club we all love. Even the most optimistic supporter will admit there are questions to be asked and we can still only guess at what the owners plans are. What I don't buy, is that such vagueness from those with connections is necessary. Yes, we have a responsibility to this site not to put problems on their doorstep but there's a whole wider internet out there and effective ways and means. Whatever happens on Sunday, I only hope this is borne in mind because if the secret squirrel stuff continues in the same vein as the last six months it's going to be a bloody long summer and I for one will simply lose interest in it.

It was obvious that Sam and John Williams would leave so on that issue I don't think the 'loopers' can claim too much credit for 'knowing' something that was pretty much bound to happen, although the timing was much sooner than most expected.

You've thrown this particular bit of mud on three different threads now, including the one you started just for that purpose.

Read the thread again, it merely stated that Venkys had arranged for the schoolboys to come and play QEGS and Lammack, until Tuesday, everything was going ahead!!

Oh Cruz and another one (of course, must have an "agenda")....

Jason Wilcox

"It's a season to forget for everybody concerned with Blackburn. There doesn't appear to be too much consistency in the statements coming out of the club and that's something that must be addressed."
