  1. 1. Should Steve Kean stay or go

Recommended Posts

I reckon we might have lost a few older members of the forum whilst they were reading TGM's Sam posts.

Jesus Christ. I will never agree with you TGM.

Before Kean Hoilett quite good, during Kean very good.

You can talk about lag, opportunities, his age, maturity whatever you want to talk about but those are the simple facts. We will never be able to establish the reasons why, far too many variables but writing a long post about it isn't going to change anything.

You're right. Nothing we post on this forum is going to change anything. Look at the hundreds of thousands of posts and all the collective wasted time. Let's just shut the forum?

I wouldn't be completely against the idea

I've warmed slightly to Kean in recent weeks I must admit, is he the right man for the job though? Probably not.

One major plus point is how much support he has from the players, they can't praise him enough.

This man told me he's by far the best manager he's ever worked with after the Wolves game at the services on the way home:

Big Chris was also told in no uncertain terms that he has to stay at Ewood next season, to which he agreed, but it's possible he couldn't understand my drunken slurs fully, as you can tell it'd been a long day on the booze. If he does stay though (Samba) you all owe me a pint.

Shutting down the Doctor would be a better option!

You are literally obsessed with me and my career.

I've lost count of the amount of times you've trolled my posts these last couple of weeks alone.

Maybe one day, when you do something with your no doubt sad husk of a life, you can concentrate on something you've actually achieved.

After several days in the lab, I can reveal conclusively that if you put TGM on 'ignore' the quality of this messageboard increases by 75%, and the endless repetition, level of arrogance, and urge to self-harm almost entirely disappear.

  Actually no. People like you always bring it up first.

How you can claim I'm the one that brings it up after yet another instance when you've once again, brought it up, is yet another testament to your crass stupidity. Places like this are the just about the only places outside of work where I'd come into any contact with pondlife like you.

Funnily enough, I really don't feel the urge to cheat with any of the middle aged nurses that work on my ward, but thanks for the tip.

Do what Mark says, why not put me on ignore? Or maybe, if your tiny flea brain has the capability, reply with something approaching footballing debate other than yet another failed trolling.

Thanks. :tu:

I did that once to a certain Mr shearer, off I went on holiday back in the day when the paper was your only source of news had a great time got on the plane and was asked if I wanted a paper, yes I replied.

What was on the back page?

Shearer signs for Newcastle, gutted I was and I swapped my paper for a vodka.

Ageist,

leave the youngsters alone

pointless talking football to you as only your opinion counts in your head,

that why you drone on and on about every little point that you can muster and resort to name calling when you get challenged.

I sincerly belive you are a legend in your own mind

No actually, I mostly only name call when people start trolling my posts. Like you are currently.

So you feel it's pointless talking football to me, but you have enough of a fascination with me to a) carry on wanting to view my posts, and b ) keep trolling them, like you repeatedly do. Not to mention c) consistently bringing up my profession.

I might disagree with some people (like Topman), but at least they want to engage in football discussion (what this board is for) and only occasionally does the argument veer away from that.

You on the other hand are like a parasite.

I guess people like you are just that obsessed with me and my posts it would seem. I never recall initiating any sort of dialogue with you, since your posts dont have enough substance to do so. You can't even spell words like "believe" and sincerely" right, so what hope would you have of being able to engage?

Am I on ignore yet?

These mindless posts to undermine Kean are getting ridiculous.

Criticise him, sure, but for the things that actually happen. Making stuff up in order to put him down further is a joke.

No......it's not a joke at all. It's very sad; some would even say tragic.

A couple of weeks ago I was in favour of SK getting the chop. However the last few weeks I have been quite impressed with the way that he has handled himself and the playing squad, drink driving charge apart.

With the lashing that the media have heaped upon us and our owners in recent weeks SK should be congratulated on keeping an apparently 'sinking ship' on course for premier league survival. To me this shows that the man has a strong character and in getting the squad to respond the way that they have I believe that he had demonstrated a sound set of man management skills. Something that a lot of 'experienced' managers seem to lack.

With a full pre-season under his belt and the ability to bring in his desired playing staff who knows what he can achieve with the Rovers? I know that I am certainly looking forward to the start of next season and (hopefully) the progress of our new era.

I agree, some of the bile about him is inane, unprooven and unfair. We have to give him a chance for next season. Let's see who he signs in the summer. We have the basis for a very good side. What we've been missing for some time is a striker or two that bangs in fifteen or twenty goals a season .

Have I missed something here? When did Kean and EHD have a falling out? It has not been reported anywhere... except here.

I have heard Kean say that he let EHD go because he wanted Hoilett to progress.

14 starts and 5 goals since Kean picked him shows that it was the correct decision. Am I again reading correctly that Hoilett starting was because of a lack of options... so Kean gets no credit :D

I will let certain posters mull over the facts above and which assertions have been passed off as "facts" by others.

Unbelievable.

I have heard Kean say that he let EHD go because he wanted Hoilett to progress.

And Hoilett was given his break against Liverpool, with Diouf relegated to the bench.

But wasn't the purported 'bust-up' after the QPR game? Which came AFTER that?
