When you spend little and have a squad devoid of quality then the end result is usually a relegation battle- that's not mystic meg that's common sense Jim. The later newscasts go onto the story about Samba/Jones which is reported here.

Those were your quotes not mine. We were 5 points off the relegation zone when Kean took over and ended up being 4 points off relegation. The squad was always a squad that was going to be close to the relegation zone this year- Sam being sacked exasperated that, you took however as if Kean is the modern version of Juande Ramos!

It's football not a mathematical equation! Had this been last season we would have been about TEN points clear of relegation FACT, but its been a freak year.

IMO the single biggest difference in the team during Sam's reign this season and Keans has been the involvement of P Jones, I would love someone to work out our points total with or without him.

Most of what you said could be applied to Rovers, takes Kean and his managerial abilities out of the equation. Point still stands that football is not a mathematical equation- last season we would have been ten points clear of relegation.
