How the heck does Balaji get in and out of India then?

Obviously Bling Kean is emulating his owner!

Perhaps he should have worn it!!!

Really though "Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone" etc.

You lot are really beginning to get me down. There's so much polishing of tarnished haloes round here the supermarket must be running out of dura-glit polish <_<

Thought he was on bail awaiting trial for drink driving. The likes of us would have our passports removed. The owners may find this embarrassing. This happening in their own country.

Maybe declares it first.

enough with attacking Kean, it really is getting silly now. give the Guy a break, as he is doing his best to make it work.

I would have been happy with a proper manager, but he slowly gained my respect , by not hiding when we were on that 11 game winless streak. The last day of the season, showed how Kean and the team pulled together, while Mcleish and his team faltered. Holloway who? West Ham with their better team, where are they now?

the fans mindset needs to change, as a manager you need to be given a proper chance. He has a full season, pre season and money to spend. it could go one of 2 ways, he will be a success or fail.

why can't we hope that he succeeds? why do we as fans want him to fail, just to satisfy our taste for a so called real manager. There have been top class managers, ie Scolari, Ancelotti, Jol who were sacked. Then there are guys like Moyes, O Neil, Hughton etc who have done well. Is a big NAME manager all we think of?

time will tell, if he can be a success or if he fails. I for one hopes he becomes a success, because if he does well, then BRFC will be a success. I also want Kean, Venkys and the club as well as the fans to stick a middle finger up to all those doubters, and those who are making fun of our club. so I don't give a damn who laughs at us, I hope that we will have the last laugh.

"Heaven helps them that help themselves".

He's making too many unforced errors Iceman. He's certainly embraced the philosophy of not shining his light under a bushel hasn't he? Not the man to tick the NO PUBLICITY box on his pools coupon our Steve is he?

From 3rd team gopher and one step up from kitman, SK's now fallen into a lifestyle that he must have viewed just 6 months ago like a street urchin with his nose pressed up against the glass of an expensive toy shop on Christmas eve. He's quickly taken to all the trappings of wealth, a jet set lifestyle, rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous, a BMW 7 series limo, dripping with expensive bling and a growing disregard for the rule book of life. Bit shallow do you not think? Unfortunately for him he's obviously accident prone. Some people just are,

Kean and the owners could start to endear themselves to fans by refraining from making embarrassing, crass statements that make the club a laughing stock.

The owners then need to put their famed millions on the table this transfer window and start spending some serious money as they promised.

And Kean needs to get Rovers off to a good start next season and keep us out of a relegation battle.

Only then will the sniping stop.

Good god, don't you ever shut up?

He's noticed people that more people are starting to see the owners in a more positive light.

Hence he is on a mission to discredit them and those that don't dismiss them. That's why every post is critical of them and the reason he loves Annie Eaves.

Why would the fans want Kean to fail Iceman?

That would mean ANOTHER season of struggle, relagation battles and fear that even more of our best players will go.

Some people can't seem to understand that criticism of a person is seperate from wanting the best for the club.

'you lot were probably gutted we stayed up' was another load of crap spouted on here.

1st Indian owners to own a PL club, culture, language barriers etc have not particularly helped the situation. If Kean is ambitious, and wants the club to move forward, then good on him. He clearly has shown, that there is a willingness to fightback when crticism is aimed at him and the club. Right or wrong, mistakes or lack of experience call it what you may, but the fact of the matter is, that he stood tall, while the likes of so called MANAGERS ie Mcleish , Holloway, Grant, even Mick McCarthy were left below us. He could easily have walked away, the owners could easily have sacked him. In the end they stood by him, and he continued to fight hard, just like the players fought right to the end.

That’s exactly the kind of attitude we should adopt, why back away from a challenge. That’s the easy way out, same applies to the owners. they could easily have said stuff this, and walked away, how stupid will we have looked then, how hard will people have been laughing at us then? Call them naïve or not knowing the rules of the game, but they fought to keep Jones, in the end it was a failed attempt, not because they didn’t do enough, but simply because Jones decided he wanted to better his career somewhere else.

Call Kean a donut, or whatever abuse people want to aim at him, you cannot fault him for every mistake he makes. He is learning, that’s what makes you stronger and makes you a better manager at the end of the day. As a little baby growing up, you didn’t just get up and walk, some 1st needed to learn how to crawl, then trying to stand up for a long period, and then holding onto things, before eventually taking those 1st few steps. It takes time, and when you have enough time to make your own decisions and you have time to prove your worth, then like I said, you can either grab the opportunity with both hands, become a success, or fail and have nobody to blame but yourself.

He has a full pre season, money to spend, and starting fresh. Its up to him to prove everybody wrong, its up to him and the players to show that we will not be fighting to avoid relegation. If we are in the same situation, then fine, he should either be sacked or walk away knowing that he could have and should have done better. Its up to him to sort out the squad, and its up to you and me and the rest of the fans to support the team from the get the go.

On a lighter note on the above article, did anybody else spot this great name ? or is it just me being darn right smutty and childish,Kean was intercepted by the Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Sameer Wankhede.

Of course there should be criticism and much of that criticism is very warranted. A lot of it however, is hysteria driven rehashes of stuff that has been posted time and time again until it seems like attempts at brainwashing. Then, every snippet of news from Ewood is pounced upon and twisted, media types who seem to hate the club are lauded as being wise sages and the loss of a player to one of the world's biggest clubs is down to the owners.

Venkys need to be given time to get this right and all of the above does not help one bit.

I dont for a minute believe that you would have wanted us to go down but I could name two off the bat who did.
