thenodrog Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 You heard it here first folks. Nobody is allowed to change their opinion based on the evidence of what they see. They have to stick to their guns and never admit they are wrong. Maybe this explains your own stance noddy? Your idol Kean would be on the scrap heap now and we would have had a new manager in place for the run in if S15 had the casting vote two months ago. Yet you are placing great store in his opinions now. btw Revealing that you have chosen an avatar that represents the finest example of such intransigence.

thenodrog Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011  Nobody will value my opinion because I'm open minded enough to change my mind if somebody proves me wrong? Nope. I'm just pointing out that by your own admissions you are disaster prone. Anybody who gives credence to your opinions is a fool. Argue with that if you want.

Yet you are placing great store in his opinions now. btw Revealing that you have chosen an avatar that represents the finest example of such intransigence. Pretty much nobody on this messageboard counts for anything when it comes to the major decisions, and long may it stay like that. Fans have some power and can vote with their feet etc, even hold demonstrations, but I'm more than happy for it to be the case that the power is with the chairman/men/woman/women, or whatever. It is simply opinions on here and just because somebody changes their mind doesn't mean their opinions should be discredited. I'm not placing great store in his opinions, I'm just glad he's open minded enough to look at what is actually happening, or what may be happening. I'm sure he also acknowledges that things can go wrong, as I do too. And why does having an avatar of Mrs Desai warrant an I'm with stupid sign and a suggestion that is revealing something? There is nothing to reveal as I'm not hiding behind anything so it doesn't give any game away. I'm sure a lot of people know my opinions on the current situation simply by reading my posts.
S15 Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Nope. I'm just pointing out that by your own admissions you are disaster prone. Anybody who gives credence to your opinions is a fool. Argue with that if you want. So I'm where you've been ever since the Paul Ince golf incident? Honestly, nobody on here with half a brain (and especially those with a full one) gives a @#/? about anything you post, and haven't done for years. You're painful attempts at being overly offensive, just for the sake of being controversial (I assume), are usually cringed at by the masses, and bitten at by the youngsters.

Argue with that if you want. Before our unbeaten run ended he wanted him sacked, as he didn't have the authority to sack him, he wasn't sacked. Then out of nowhere we started winning games to go along with our performances. Hence, after turning it round from an almost impossible position he now thinks he should be given a chance. You however have wanted him sacked from the first day, even though you knew nothing about him. Yet you think you have "won" the argument. You also think it's fine to call them slumdogs, describe Indian people as untrustworthy, call somebody an idiot for having a picture of our owner and have a track record of being a complete bigot (obviously this has nothing to do with your opinion of our owners, and you aren't simply trying to reaffirm your prejudices). It makes me smile to think that having Indian owners really annoys you. It's almost poetic
greco Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 still no one able to prove, that kean was offered a job at chelsea..? ive only seen articles, where he claims it himself. time to step up. its been used to claim, that kean is loyal and great. Must have been numerous articles and statements from chelsea, as they were about to land, one of footballs brightest managerial talents. so far, ive only come across articles, where its kean himslef, claiming to be called up, by a representative of scolaris.
47er Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Buy young talent, develop them all the way we always seem to do, but DONT sell them on. Thats a start in the right direction. Only time will tell, we just need to chill and see how the summer pans out. But that's your plan! Is it Venky's?

You however have wanted him sacked from the first day, even though you knew nothing about him. Yet you think you have "won" the argument. Obviously. Keans points per match is significantly less than his predecessor despite having been given money to improve the squad very early in his tenure. You don't have a valid standpoint Bucky.
braddock Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Nope. I'm just pointing out that by your own admissions you are disaster prone. Anybody who gives credence to your opinions is a fool. Argue with that if you want. What does that make somebody who gives credence to your opinions? A man who doesn't believe that somebody should change their opinions based on what they have seen but stand by their convictions whether there are signs it is being disproved or not. I imagine you hold the same beliefs you developed as a fourteen year old on that basis. Opinions change. When you don't question your most firmly held beliefs then that is when the problems set in. People's own received wisdoms and those things they take for granted should be questioned by themselves regularly given the fact that nothing is eve black and white, otherwise what's the point in taking anything we all stand for seriously?
BuckyRover Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Obviously. Keans points per match is significantly less than his predecessor despite having been given money to improve the squad very early in his tenure. You don't have a valid standpoint Bucky. I see. So a novice manager should immediately be as good as an experienced one, even though he has to change the style mid season during a period of turmoil. So in your mind experience has nothing to do with how well a manager should perform? It might not have been as effective as Sam. But he has had a lot longer to perfect his style, unfortunately his style doesn't extend to scoring three goals away from home. Ever.
thenodrog Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 So I'm where you've been ever since the Paul Ince golf incident? Honestly, nobody on here with half a brain (and especially those with a full one) gives a @#/? about anything you post, and haven't done for years. You're painful attempts at being overly offensive, just for the sake of being controversial (I assume), are usually cringed at by the masses, and bitten at by the youngsters. You obviously do. 15 is your age then I take it? btw Glad you brought that up. No one can deny that I was completely right about Paul Ince from the minute that he was first linked with us. I said he'd be a disaster and he was. Kean on the other hand was a midges dick (or the thickness of the post) off being a disaster too. It's almost poetic Aha here it is..... the race card. Bucky you really are a pathetic little man.

No one can deny that I was completely right about Paul Ince from the minute that he was first linked with us. I said he'd be a disaster and he was. Kean on the other hand was a midges dick (or the thickness of the post) off being a disaster too. And no one can deny that you were completely wrong about Mark Hughes. You have an extremely high opinion of yourself, but the reality is you're opinion is just as valid/ invalid as anybody else's. It the way you carry yourself that puts you below most the posters on here. Like I say, we can start throwing insults if you want; it seems to be a hobby of yours. A bit like a fifteen year old, wouldn't you say?
braddock Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Aha here it is..... the race card. Bucky you really are a pathetic little man. Did you claim Indians to be untrustworthy? I'm sure there was also a poster I once saw saying that Asians should not be trusted with money as they simply gamble it away. May not have been you but on the other hand it may not have been you. Can you remember if you ever said that? I don't see why the race card shouldn't be discussed as to why some people can't accept any positives at all. It's a theory. Not necessarily one that is true, but one that could explain a few things and can be easily waved away by yourself if you haven't made such claims in the past.

PAFELL Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Buy young talent, develop them all the way we always seem to do, but DONT sell them on. Thats a start in the right direction. Only time will tell, we just need to chill and see how the summer pans out. Do not Rovers need an experienced manager, with a decent track record, to attract these young talented players, to come to the club? That is my fear for Rovers at the moment. It is good having some money to spend for a change in the transfer market. But I do not believe Kean, because he is still a novice, is the right manager to attract these players. Sadly this thread has developed into one or two people having a dig, throwing insults at other posters.
A cup of beans Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Rovers players aren't going to say anything else. He might be well respected as a coach within the game, or he might not. It's just this is used as "fact", when really, it's totally unprovable. READ WHAT I SAID! here's 1 ive found straight off.. though he's probably changed his tune now!
thenodrog Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 It might not have been as effective as Sam. But he has had a lot longer to perfect his style, unfortunately his style doesn't extend to scoring three goals away from home. Ever. Just a small but relevent point made in the interests of accuracy .... Allardyce's team scored more goals per game than Kean's team this season.

BuckyRover Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Just a small but relevent point made in the interests of accuracy .... Allardyce's team scored more goals per game than Kean's team this season. Sam was more experienced and this was HIS team. if we don't outscore and finish higher than 10th next season then he will rightly be sacked.

You are clutching at straws. If I was deemed racist I'd have been banned years ago. You are behaving disgracefully like those hormonally and emotionally disturbed women who try to exact revenge on men by making up rape charges. Is it cos you is black? or Is it cos you is a woman?
BuckyRover Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 You are clutching at straws. If I was deemed racist I'd have been banned years ago. Give it up cock. I didn't call you racist. You brought that up of your own accord. Fancy that
greco Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 You are clutching at straws. If I was deemed racist I'd have been banned years ago. Give it up cock. its the lowest and most desperate way, to "win" a debate. if you are lacking logical reasoning , just throw a curveball and the race card certainly is.
