Ironically all of Blackpool chances came from set pieces. For soft decisions in the main.

You must have missed part of the match ! Blackpool forced Robinson into some four or five saves which he virtually parried the lot, one of which produced the 2nd half offside goal.

No, I saw the whole of the match. But I did mis-post. I meant goals, not chances. Cheers MM.

Surprised nobody mentioned the fact that the Rover's team were all out very early for the second half and a notable absence was Mr Kean, he appeared about three or four minutes later after the players had been stood around the touchline, make of this what you will...

All I am feeling is if we stick with Kean we are going down, if we bring in a new manager we might have a chance of staying up.

This for me would be suicide, Kean is out of his depth that’s plain for everyone other than Venkys to see, but to change the manager now would be madness.

The second half today was like the Alamo, but we needed that in the first half when bpool completely outplayed us, not sure what was said at half time but it worked, still a draw was no good today……

I still see SA hasnt had a call from a big side yet in his career, despite being so wonderful and the sun shining out his arse?

Kin obvious to a blind man on a galloping horse that he is best suited to small town, small time clubs with limited finances. How come you haven't spotted it?

……

That simply does not compute!

Gav having said all that you have over the years I'm beggining to suspect that you want Kean to stay and us to stay up for your own good rather than for the benefit of the club.

I think we are between the rock and the hard place with regard to the manager. The form record for the last 6 games would point to certain relegation. Having taken 2 points from the last six games we now need to find another 8 points from the remaining eight games to give us a hope of survival. Since Kean took over in mid-December we have won only three League games and two were against a WBA side on the brink of losing their manager and one against a Liverpool team who were also about to sack their manager. In terms of results and performances there is no doubt that Kean is out of his depth in the Premier League. I will be delighted when he leaves and yet, if he went tomorrow who, in their right mind, would want this job?

I honestly believe that sticking with Kean will see us relegated at the end of the season and yet, with hand on heart, can anyone suggest a name who could come in and get the players organized and performing well enough to get those all important eight points or so?

It is still unclear if Venkys have the type of money required to fund a Premier League club. Indeed, we have no idea what their long term plans are for the club. I would suspect that the penny might have finally dropped for Mrs. Desai that owning a Premier League club is a costly business and one that is a continual drain on resources. Do they have the money or the stomach for the long term? Do they realise how relegation will simply drain away even more money and give them very little in the way of publicity in return. Do they actually want to own a Championship club? Indeed, can they actually afford to own a Premier League club?

I suspect that money will be the deciding factor with regard to Steve Kean. If we survive then I have no doubt he will remain in post. If we are relegated I suspect that Venkys will lose any interest in the club and allow Kean to continue - it will be cheaper than sacking him - while they look to make what they can from selling players before retreating to India with the parachute money.

We have seen plenty of examples throughout football history of a new manager being appointed at a club which then resulted in a 'bounce back' or improvement in form. I'm not saying that this would definitely be the case but I believe we would see an improvement in our form, hopefully enough of a bounce to keep us up in the division.

If you are talking about the financial implications well that's pretty simple really:

*£2m to pay off Kean

£40m+ loss if you end up being relegated.

*A guess of how much to pay him off, no clue what the actual figure would be- but less costly than relegation that's for sure.

If you can bring in a manager (and there would be people interested) its obvious what decision you should make.

Couldn't manage a hamster cages decor.
