Of course we COULD get into 'Europe', we get a decent run in the cups, or we end up 6th/7th after a few years of decent investment, we would be in with a shout.

But oh no, Keano believes we arent 'quite at Champions League level', but soon though!

Without City esque spending it will NEVER happen, I know it, you know it, he knows it. So don't say it!

Why not say it? I like the optimism. Why knock it? If or when it all goes tits up for the guy and gets sacked for someone else, so be it. Until then, why knock it.

Should he say we are gong for the title by your logic?

It isn't optimism, it's total delusion.

For it to be Optimism, he has to actually believe that we're in with a chance of the C.L. - and if he does really believe that, his footballing judgement is extremely flawed. So flawed in fact, that he's probably the only person in the country who believes it. A guy like that shouldn't be a manager.

I'm with you Brian. It doesn't bother me really. Only those of the smallest intellect actually believe it'll happen, but i'd sooner hear someone being positive about the club than run it down and reign us in when we dare to dream. I loved Souness, but he always felt it necessary to belittle us.

I often wonder how dear old Uncle Jack would have been received had the internet been going way back when. Written off as a dreamer i expect. I fully appreciate he was in the envious position of being able to facilitate the whole operation unlike Kean. But does it really hurt anyone to aim high? If he fails he'll be remembered as the fool who thought he could get us CL football. Its not like the club will forever be tarnished with the stigma. I'd have thought all the Kean haters would be pleased to hear him say this. In all likelehood he's setting himself up for a fall and it might just speed up the process. If not and he gets anywhere near his big bold statement then we're all winners.

Is Kean to get a new number two ? Rumours where of Jensen only holding onto his contract until the end of this month or was that yet more tosh.

All Kean has to do is get the best people around him and the best players playing for him and who knows with a bit of luck what he may achieve, but then again thats just idle chit chat thats easy to say. At the end of the day its Actions that will speak louder than any words.

:rover:

Come on ye super blue and whites !

Here's Mystic Meg. I'm bored of the negativity.

Is it not just realism?

No. It's looking into the future and saying, no it definitely won't happen. We have no idea. Surely, its better to believe, to dare to dream. Anyway, Top 50 Harry Potter is on. Here's hoping the number 1 clip is the one where Hermione dildos herself in the shower. Dare to dream.

Wharrevah Brian.

One last question, what would it take for a rovers manager to lose your support, or is it just blind support?

If he started playing hoof ball and telling us as supporters he's bigger than the club, that would turn me against the manager.

You never gave Kean a chance den, thats a poor do, it really is.

 Bloody hell Gav. That's a bit rich coming from your good self!

Anyway, I can't deny Kean his chance. It arrived last November.

And that's when any credibility that you had went out the window. What are you some kind of cinematic paedo or just a general weirdo?

But he doesn't play "hoofball" and that is more important....

Generally this was an opinion held by some season ticket holders who pay Hard earned money to go to ewood, who found hoof ball to be the most dull, un entertaining drivel which made going to our beloved rovers a chore.

Saturdays were great  , yes we could win, but Christ it would be painful to be there fo 90 min.

Then there were those that mock those that moaned about bfs and hoof ball, but unsurprisingly,

A lot of them were not paying week in week out to watch that sh@te, as they watch on streams or checked messageboards etc.
