there really cant be made an argument, for kean remaining in the job.

What baffles me the most, or close to most is, that the football professor mrs desai stated, that they had been adviced poorly. Fine mrs desai, you have been advised poorly, but why on earth, are you still sticking to the advice given. Was it not poor.?

The only argument remaining is how well the team are performing under Kean on a Saturday afternoon as it is clear he is nit getting sacked.

The players are playing for him but his non inclusion of Niko is strange. I believe that we will survive this season as we have the players to get us out of this mess, a lot of pressure on PJ but I think our survival may rest on his young shoulders.

Kean is the worse manager the Rovers have ever had. No doubt he is taking us down. Venky's have ruined our club, and at the end of the season, supporters will vote with there feet. Season ticket anyone?

Comments being made about Kean on the riverside yesterday were that he should stick to coaching kids rather than ruining Rovers.

Attractive football you're having a laugh Kean, at the end all we could see was Samba up front with the ball being hoofed upto his general dirction.

He's not worse than Ince. Nobody is that bad...

Trump card- Kidd.

To fail so badly with the squad and money at his disposal really took some doing.

When you here Kean is thinking of playing Jason Lowe in the premiership, then you know he's way out of his depth with what is required for running a successful premier league football team.

Custis just savaging Kean on Sunday Supplement saying that he indulges players and they do whatever they want, saying he got job allegedly in questionable circumstances. All Journos have us to go down.

Hmmm I saw that too ... Not a very popular bunny is he ...

Common knowledge in football and among the press boys how Kean shafted Sam who is very popular among his peers. Pure speculation here but PL managers all talk among themselves and I wouldn't be surprised if they have decided collectively to make a special effort to send Rovers down. Referees seem to be joining in the fun too.

I was absolutely staggered yesterday how the crowd, in the main, refrained from turning on Kean.

Perhaps, the support is not militant enough!

Mentioned in comments on the match thread, the club were expecting protests yesterday. When I came out of the JW stand, I was stopped from turning right towards the official entrance by a big cordoned-off area with barriers, police and stewards. We were forced to walk towards the Blackpool support before taking a right back towards Blackburn down the back alley (wall and railings in between ground and alley). This was just crazy but clearly confirms protests were expected and, no doubt, the last gasp equaliser calmed things down.

As for Kean, I'm resigned that we are stuck with him and we will go down with him.

My only faint hope is that our owners, who are so unpredictable, will wake-up one morning and decide enough is enough.

Blackburn Rovers R.I.P..

The only people who can send Rovers down are the players and the management team. From what we have seen this season they are not good enough either of them. Thankfully our best players are on long contracts so we should get a fair value for them when we sell them IF we go down I would expect nearly the squad to leave as they have no interest in playing in the Chumpionship. Maybe we will get lucky and Phil Jones will stay for one season but even that I am not sure about.

Even if we stay up and Kean leave (which I pray he does) there is a massive massive job for who ever comes in. It's going to need a very experienced manager to take Rovers forward, even if Venkeys to bring some money to the table and allow the manager to get on with his job.

The one bright note is that after that 2nd half performance it appears Kean has not lost the dressing room and the players seem to be behind him.

I am however worried, really worried but think we will survive but only just I really hope we dont need any points going to Wolves on the last game of the season

Personally I think we would have done better yesterday if he'd been put on gardening leave and left the two captains to run things.

Well all feel the pain that we are going through now but Rovers will not die. We maybe hurting, angry and in pain but we are still in the EPL at the moment and players should be fighting for their lives or at least their Premiership sized pay checks.

I am not confident that we will stay up but I ###### refuse to give up and roll over and accept we are down. Any points from we get from Arsenal will be a bonus then we have Birmingham we we should be able to get points.

The unsackable Steve Kean, who was appointed shall we say in questionable circumstances, is not doing it. I understand he indulges the players to try and get them on side and the players tend to do what they want. What they're not doing is winning football matches."Sam was a very popular man in football and he's an excellent manager, who was doing great things at Blackburn. There's no chance they'd be there if he was there, they'd be in the top half."

Thank you Mr Custis.

Now where's that buffoon in Canada ?

direct quote from custis " I understand he indulges the players to try and get them on side and the players tend to do what they want"

i know a lot of players got better contracts, basically on the basis of nothing, thats certainly a way to indulge the players. Perhaps there Is someone on this site, who could shed some light on the situation, regarding the quote above..? maybe some persons watch the training or might have some inside info.

Is this the same journalist that claimed Kean had been summoned to a meeting in London to be sacked? Sunday supplement is the biggest load of cr@p on the TV currently, and has a history off trying to undermine our club regardless of who’s in charge of the first 11.

I’m no Kean fan, but his job is hard enough with Allaryces cronies in the press trying to undermine his position.

Gav ffs. Who are Allardyces cronies? Its clear to a blind man on a galloping horse what a mess we're in. You forget the bad press that Allardyce used to get for his 'hoofball' methods.

Of course there would have been the select few who saw him for what he was, a very decent premier league manager. But if you seriously think that it is only 'Allardyce cronies' as you put it, who are undermining Steve Kean you're deluded.

Every journo in the country (except Nicko :glare: ) will be waiting for Kean to get sacked and will be laughing at BRFC for the complete mess we are in!
