  1. 1. Should Steve Kean stay or go

Rafa Benitez 1/2 on with Victor Chandler to be next Rovers manager

Cheque book manager, whilst I'd have him in a shot, surely it would never happen unless Venkys made certain promises.

I have a feeling he won't be sacked or has been sacked, just some rumours have caused it.

Best I can tell there was a tweet this morning from someone claiming to have heard via a Kentaro employee at Brockhall that he's been canned. Based on that, somebody could have put on a large enough bet to move the market dramatically, thus creating the additional speculation.

Surely surely if it is true, an instant replacement has been lined up but there is no chat about that at all, which makes me a little sceptical. I'd be laying at odds-on if I could.

Never know with our owners I suppose

I'd be biting my hand off to get him as next rovers manager

Likewise.

Not heard anything from my source, though he'd probably find out only shortly before it was made public.

Please let it be true...

I wouldn;t have thought you could now, only way is to bet on someone else to be sacked first or no one to be sacked.

The whole way Betfair works is that you can bet both ways - Assuming somebody actually wants to match the odds you offer. If somebody wanted to bet 90 quid to win a profit of 40 quid, then you could match that bet. Betfair profit by taking a cut out of any of the winning bets, and have no liability of their own.

For some reason - probably people profiting too much out of it they no longer offer this market.

Doesn't seem much point canning him now, with so few games left.

What harm could it do? It can't be any worse under someone new. Get shut, he has had his moment in the sun.

Critically uniting one and all again for the run in, with the owners at last demonstrating some understanding of our current plight may save our season.

oh aye your right lad we'll all eat humble pie just for you. After all "The Expert" was way too good for us. He should have been managing Inter, Barca, Real, Juve or some other "top" team and he told eveyone so whenever he could. The fat one WAS average like it or not AND he wanted out of Brfc or is your memory so clouded by your worship of The Majesty that is Sam? Where is he by the way? Who's he managing now?.... No one?......Must be recharging his batteries ready to replace Cappello or some other top manager eh? In fact I bet Mourinho is clearing his desk as we speak!

It still baffles me that even now people still don't get that Sam was joking and was meerly a retort to all the media types who slated his style. The same media types who wanted his babies once he was sacked.

Come on, I mean it wasn't even a subtle joke. Even the biggest moron in the world could see that.......me :D
