To all those who have asked for my opinion: sacking Kean = certain relegation. Players support him to the hilt. #rovers

understandable.. another journo said that kean lets his players do whatever they like.. coupled with the fact that he's passed out new contracts like its candy.. i can understand why the players like him...

Maybe because as Custis eluded to, he let's the players do what they want? If that's the case it does not necessarily make you a good manager.

Anyway nothing is going to change, let's get behind him and the team during matches.

"I bet we'd be pushing far higher up the table" Speculation and conjecture now eh? By your previous statements it's obvious that like Gav your judgement is massively flawed and therefore completely invalid. You were warned many times but now you've got what you wished just live with it and stop trying to wriggle off the spike that you have impaled yourself on.

You really don't endear yourself to the board you can make that assumption about O'Neill & Jol is totally beyond me they are 2 high class managers who could definitely do a better job than this muppet & I do believe Allardyce had to go but I have to admit the way they got rid of him was wrong and believe we should have had an experienced man at the helm e.g. O'Neill,Joland how you can compare O'Neill to Sam is beyond me when consistently O'Neill's teams when he has been in charge have consistently finished above us in the table even close to qualifying for the UCL.

Simple answer to that is that imo neither O'Neill nor Martin Jol would do any good in the Premier League with the financial constraints that Allardyce had to contend with. Remind me .... How much did O'Neill spend at Villa during his time there? How about Jol during his time at Spurs?

Why are people still unable to see the wood for the trees? It's pathetic. Today some clowns were hoping Rafa bloody Benitez was going to come to BRFC ffs! What sort of a disaster would that be?

Completely agree. Rafa would bring us to our knees---if we weren't already there!

Theno- maybe you need to look at O Neills record at Leicester, he worked under a tight budget- far tighter than Sam in the sense that he could not pay top wages, Lennon, Savage, Heskey, Guppy, And co it was some team which won trophies too, he could do it. How much did Rafa spend at Valencia? He won two La Ligas with them again IMO he could work under a small budget.

Or the players like what he does on the training ground and can see what he is trying to do? Not changing my stance about Kean but think this is a real positive in our current predicament- Ince certainly did not have this backing.

They must be joking !!! The suppoorters wont lay-off him.

Anyhow, given their record for saying one thing and doing another, must mean Kean will be sacked this weekend, hopefully !!!

See Villa being linked with Rafa, the very man who it's rumoured Venkys wanted to replace Kean with but wouldn't cough-up.

oneill at leicester, was in a whole differant era, where wages and fees were much smaller. Now a days arsenals, uniteds and chelseas reserve teams cost more then our first team. Good players now prefer to sit on the top teams benches, were previously the played for other teams, making it more competitive. Those days are far far gone. It was easier to compete in previous eras for smaller teams, because money wasnt such a huge part of the game, when compared to now. all you need to do, is look at the premier leageu table and those with most cash are at the top or in the league.

There arent many norwich, charlton, leicester, southhamptons etc in the league anymore and thats because, now more then ever, money does the talking.

Our own beloved mark hughes stated, that finding cheap players with a bit of qiality, was getting much harder and close to impossible.

Rafa spend a huge amount of money at valencia iirc and their finances hasnt recovered fully since.

I just don't understand what they see in Kean. We haven't won a game since the West Brom game. in the last 6 games we have only got 2 points from that.

Kean is just not a manager! I think a double act like Ranieri and Tugay would be an excellent choice.

I think the Majority of the fans who go to the game do not want him as manager.

It's time the owners admitted their mistake in appoint him and get us a manager who is proven and has experience in the PL.

IMY and Bucky, I am glad you provide this messageboard with an alternative view.

My stance has been sack Kean since the Fulham game! I am however trying to see the positives now that it is clear that he is not going anywhere.

John- you should tell the guys who think we were going to finish 10th this season that this may still happen...we may also finish bottom, that's the league this year, to think Sam would guarantee 10th is laughable, we could have finished 13th-10th on the last day of the previous season and improved this year by buying...Benjani, Sunderland who finished below us have bought Gyan for 13 million, the bloke from PSG for 7 million, etc.

wonder if they will come to another game this season?

that is what annoys me about them...why buy a footy club and not attend the biggest /important derby game in many a year v lashers?? they defo wernt in their box behind us.

Laughable? He has a proven track record and widely regarded as a very good manager.

You might not remembee but we finished last season incredibly strong and looked very sharp/fit. We had an end to the season to be proud of and more than matched the best clubs in the land. I remember the pride after one match in particular, you could not take the snmile off my face.

Top manager's can do that.
