Steve Kean from yesterday's press conference:

"We're all fairly comfortable with the way things are progressing but I know we have to get the points... and quickly.

"Obviously, we spoke about where we are in the table, we'd like to be higher.

"But relegation was not discussed, not at all."

These are quite concerning quotes to be honest. What exactly are the owners comfortable about regarding the current situation? Why does he have to shoot off to India every five minutes? And the owners are really in cloud cuckoo land if they had Kean out in India and did not discuss relegation at all.

I thought the same thing at first.

But then I clung onto the hope that it meant that they felt concerning Kean about talk of next season was pointless ^_^

Why does he have to shoot off to India every five minutes?

I don't understand why he has to go at all.

I understand why he had to go when he wasn't permanent manager and they needed to meet face-to-face, but now surely they can just video conference? Technology exists for situations like this.

Mrs D said at the beginning of her 'reign' that Venkys would not do anything the supporters would not like eg renaming Ewood Park.

Well, Mrs D., the supporters did not like Kean's permanent appointment and we like even less the way that we are hurtling towards the Championship.

In my personal opinion, shared I believe by many, many, Rovers supporters, your chosen manager is absolutely incompetent and full of bullsh!t which, unfortunately, you and your brothers don't seem able to see through. Just ask any football expert, which will rule out, IMO, Anderson, and they will give you a unaminous and unbiased message.

Not even Jim Iley and Paul Ince were disliked as much. And. messrs Cryer & Plunkett, that's when LT journalists had both balls and teeth (Iley's reign) - just read some of David Allin's articles on Iley !!!

Please, please, get rid of Kean and get rid now !

You have made various comments about how you won't mind us going down, but does getting tubbed by Burnley every time we play them sound good to you? Because whilst we will be an average Championship team at best, they'll be pretty good, and that lovely 32 year record will be gone. I say this, because I've seen plenty of anti-Burnley posts from yourself and know you share my disdain for them!

Are you on a windup sambo? even our current side is streets ahead of burnleys, I have no worries on that score, until the next time we play them that is :D

Kean on his India trip

'There have been stories about my future but I've been to India and it could not be further from the truth. I have a good relationship with the owners and I'm still enjoying it.

'It was a really good meeting. It always comes around on the 27th or 28th of the month. I get my e-ticket on my phone, get on the plane and get out there. We never discussed anything negative that was putting any pressure on me or the lads. We talked a bit a bit about the last month and about where we are in the table. We'd like to be higher but we're only two points further back than we were this time last year.'

I believe they are as well. However why on earth they moved bowyer is beyond me as he was doing a good job heading up the academies coaches.

Kean has one, himself.

Re Pro Licenses,

Hughes (he had one) had Bowen, Hitchcock and Eddie Niz, Sam (he had one) had McDonald and Kean.

Kean has one but thats it!!

Cloud cuckoo land.

We wont avoid relegation by ignoring it. We have to recognise it and plan against it. Totally peed off by these continual, ridiculous comments. They [Venky's, Kean] think the fans are ignorant fools.

Gav, why was the post spot on ? It was nonsense !

There are still people who haven't grasped the seriousness of our plight and the consequences of relegation.

And none of this would have happened but for the imbeciles in Pune. The club is being slowly but surely wrecked by incompetant people.

Why can't you see it ?

The post was spot on because regardless of where the club is in 5yrs time both myself and Roversider will still be there.

Hardly nonsence wouldn't you say.

They do don't they.

I'm still hoping that in the next 2 hours someone's going to jump out of my cupboard, scream "April fool" and Venky's will disappear.

It's starting to really irritate me the way he keeps regurgitating the same old garbage.

The whole "2 points behind where we were last season" is completely irrelevant. It's a completely different league this time around, with no single team out of it at this stage, which is unusual.

As will I GAV, as will jim (probably), but lets not kid ourselves that watchnig a skint BRFC in the lower leagues will be anything over but awful- it aint the 70s anymore.

Look at the remnants of one decent PL clubs now in the lower reaches of the second and third tiers and struggling to stay out of administration year after year.

any chance the owners could send me an Eticket on my phone, to come watch Rovers :tu:

fly to India every month, when that money could have been spent on something else, maybe the water bill ;)

I think I have found actual proof that Kean is deluded. Or a robot...

Quote from today's LT: (on Grella)

'Boss Steve Kean said: "Hopefully he can get some rehab and look forward to an injury-free season next season"'

 we need some new emoticons, these don't do him justice.

He goes to India to get lessons on contradictory statements, the guy to me is a complete idiot, loves talking but unfortunately cannot put things into practice.

You made a comment on the YouTube video of what you would like to do to SK.

Yes it was moment of madness, I don't think I've ever hated anyone as much as I hate Kean his press conferences make my blood boil with all the drivel he comes out with.

The first is not a direct quote if you read the full interview in the LET he says that the current position may give the players an edge, he does not say that relegation has been discussed and says that in the 2nd interview, well that's how I read it anyway.
