Patently obvious Kean is a smooth-talking con-man ; another indictment of the owners for not seeing through him.

I don't know Kean personally, you obviously do to make a comment about his integrity. He is doing a bad job at the moment but the personal attacks are getting to be cringe worthy.

The post was spot on because regardless of where the club is in 5yrs time both myself and Roversider will still be there.

Hardly nonsence wouldn't you say.

So will I - if I'm not 6ft under.

But the prospect of lower league football in front of crowds of 10,000 or fewer does not appeal.

This does not seem to bother you.

I couldn'tr care less if they're "cringeworthy" (whatever that means). As far as I am concerned Kean doesn't have any integrity. He pushed himself forward for job for which he is not qualified and has shown through his actions and his words to be totally out of his depth. Kean is damaging my football club - I want him out.

Not as "cringe worthy" as those comments continually defending him despite all the evidence.

Don't be silly. For less than the cost of a plane ticket, a video conference call can be set up. Not ideal, but how much would they have to talk about, and for how long? An hour maybe? Depriving the club of its manager for a couple of days just to hear what's been going on for an hour.

Given that the concensus of opinion on here is that he is a clueless backstabber then surely getting rid of the buggger half way around the globe before an important game is a plus! The Blackpool HT turnaround showed us all that the team is miles better off under the charge of the new and real management team of Chris Samba and Ryan Nelsen. :tu:

A source has told me that Steve Kean is to step down at the end of the season regardless of what league we are in as he is coming under mounting pressure from every angle. His latest trip to India was to inform Venkys of what he is intending to do

where have you heard that from?

i can't see kean stepping down cos he's got a chance to be a manager here that he would nt have got anywhere else?

Well it won't to you middle class prawn sandwich types now will it :P

I've got better things to worry about than Blackburn Rovers getting relegated Jim. I'm struggling to get a table at my favourite restaurant in Manchester tonight, Debs won't be happy :( now that’s real pressure!

I think it's an April Fools day joke, although I wish it wasn't

The first is not a direct quote if you read the full interview in the LET he says that the current position may give the players an edge, he does not say that relegation has been discussed and says that in the 2nd interview, well that's how I read it anyway.

maybe so imy9 - but our current position is a relegation battle - lose Saturday and we could be even moreso ie in a relegation place so I can't see how it cannot have been discussed given that we are at the last stretch of the season.

Mrs D said at the beginning of her 'reign' that Venkys would not do anything the supporters would not like eg renaming Ewood Park.

Well, Mrs D., the supporters did not like Kean's permanent appointment and we like even less the way that we are hurtling towards the Championship.

In my personal opinion, shared I believe by many, many, Rovers supporters, your chosen manager is absolutely incompetent and full of bullsh!t which, unfortunately, you and your brothers don't seem able to see through. Just ask any football expert, which will rule out, IMO, Anderson, and they will give you a unaminous and unbiased message.

Not even Jim Iley and Paul Ince were disliked as much. And. messrs Cryer & Plunkett, that's when LT journalists had both balls and teeth (Iley's reign) - just read some of David Allin's articles on Iley !!!

Please, please, get rid of Kean and get rid now !

Jim Iley was a complete chump, Ince lost his credibility. However in both cases there was an option as it was early in the season.

So we get rid of Kean now and then what? Make Ryan Nelsen manager? I would give more credibility to the desire to sack Kean if there was an alternative that wasn't based in fantasy.

Gav, why was the post spot on ? It was nonsense !

There are still people who haven't grasped the seriousness of our plight and the consequences of relegation.

And none of this would have happened but for the imbeciles in Pune. The club is being slowly but surely wrecked by incompetant people.

Why can't you see it ?

What bit of me being desperate to stay up says I don't grasp the seriousness of relegation.

How can putting the survival for the long-term of my club be nonsense?

I am not an advocate of Kean but I cannot see the sense in making changes at this stage of the season, that is because I think that gives us a better chance to stay up. At the same time I will continue to support the Rovers no matter which league we are in. Because you are so determined to see a certain story you cannot be bothered to read what is written but choose to add a whole script from your imagination.

The only arguments being put forward are all about destruction of what is in place at the Rovers because 'we don't like it'. I really wish someone would come up with a credible alternative that can be done now. The summer is the time for change not in this last stage of the season. It is because of not wanting to be relegated with all the issues around that that I don't want more disruption UNLESS someone can put forward a viable option.

What utter nonsense. I have wanted him out since the Fulham game. What I do object too are the personal comments made against him when no one knows him. Jims con man comment was nice compared to others, treading a fine line with libel if you ask me.

Just for you 47er- my default position on Kean is that he should not be our manager right now due to the results but as he is here he has my backing. I am not a fan nor am i related to him in any way.

Anderson, Venkys and now Kean I am not going to comment for a while as it seems having an independent thought and viewpoint is not allowed any more...

Sam - please save us, there's £2 million in it when job done!

At the Stoke game I turned to my Dad and said that I couldn't believe that the club caretaker had been given the job and that anyone could see relegation approaching a mile away.

Kean is a fool. Blackburn Rovers are now a complete joke. Venkys have destroyed this club potentially forever.

If we do go down, they won't be sticking around, I promise you that.

The fact that Kean is STILL the manager should have us rioting in the streets but noone will do anything until it is far too late, it's a shame.

I fully agree.

There are so many people just accepting the situation, thinking it's too late to make a change - but it's really, really not.

There is still very much time to have somebody like Allardyce-esque save us.

The alternative - leaving this clown in charge - is almost resigning ourselves to relegation without any kind of fight.
