Neil to Miss Hammers Fixture

Blackburn Rovers have been unsuccessful in their appeal to have Lucas Neil’s one match ban overturned. Neil was sent off by referee Graham Barber, for two bookable offences, during the recent Premier League match against Everton at Goodison Park. The club had been hoping one of the yellow cards might be rescinded but the player’s appeal has failed. Neil will now miss the home game against West Ham United on 28th December.
