Bert's been ok today, but agree on the set pieces. Problem is, who would take them in his place? Him, Dunny and Peds are the only ones who ever take them for us.

We should try Salgado at set pieces, if MGP is not up for it.

Decent half for Rovers. Arsenal started off well and could have had a couple of goals but seemed to drop off a bit after Nasri's head injury. Rovers had a few chances but nothing clear cut.

First 15 minutes in the second half Rovers will have to weather the storm, I'm expecting Arsenal to step it up in the second half.

delicately poised... much better position than most of us expected.

. . . wish i could get £90,000 a week for doing what Santa Cruz does!

I guess no one would mind that. I think he's been very good in his role today, bullying the Arsenal defenders, winning headers and getting other players into space.

Jermaine and Phil Jones have both been immense, Jermaine a bit more so. Hoilett looks dangerous when he gets the ball.

I'm still not expecting anything from this game, but the first half was handled very well by our players and manager.

Dowds an idiot! How was Sagna not booked yet Salgado was.

We have played well but I doubt we can hold out theres a long way to go yet.

Very good stuff at times though the Joneses and the young lads On the left are invaluable.

Emerton has been poor though.

Olsson should take free kicks, he is very good on crosses. Dont understand why, when Bert takes a corner he lets the ball hang. Take a flat kick, and whip it in.

I'm pretty sure the players have been ordered to take their set pieces high, to take advantage of Almunia.

I would defo get salgado of before he gets sent of and put emerton to right back but looking at the bench dont no who would come on to play the flank. maybe Hanley and go three at the back 2 wing backs and push hoilet in a free role behind roque.

The first 15 minutes we couldn't get the ball but it improved markedly after Nelsen's headbutt on Nasri. Both Jones very good. Robbo gives confidence at the back. Emerton - oh dear! What is the matter with Roque - he seems to be avoiding getting in to the box.....disappointing last 2 games from a guy I rate. Junior and Olly with some good moves down the left.

we are going to have a MASSIVE onslaught this second half. Wenger will tell the team how important it is to go for a win and they will go all-out for it. we will have to defend for our lives here. a draw for arsenal means they are out of the premier league race.... they are going to attack like never before.
