Sukhis better for a curry??? lol never!! You only have to compare sizes of restaurants and the number in each to realise Akash is far better.

Anaz is also better but due to the illegal workers its put a few off.

Akash everytime at the moment (trust me I go for a curry at least once every 2-3 weeks in Darwen)

Pubs wise - Darwen is slowly improving, Bridgewater is by far the best pub at the moment

Or just go Bukhara on the outskirts of Blackburn (Samlesbury). One of the best curry places in the North West.

Each to ther own pal eh? When Akash won their best Indian restaurant awards, Sukhi was the head chef there. The plaque is now on the wall in his restaurant.

And trust me as a born and bred Darrener I have eaten from Akash for 28 years and IMO Sukhis is better

Off topic I know but for me Sukhis is about the best in darwen but Shajan on longsight road is the best around.

On topic let's hope today's performance encourages a few more to buy tickets.
