I can honestly say that previously I had'nt worried so much because we have had plenty of fight and been undone by some bad decisions, today however was a different story, I never saw a team that deserved relegation as much as us.

No fight, no tactics, no threat at all in 90 mins, we deserve to go down.

Well done Venky's.

Totally outplayed today. We couldn't handle Osman and, as usual, there was nothing up front. Undone by another short corner.......sigh!!

The promising Rochina disappeared in the second half. Worrying performance.

We demonstrated a difficulty to stand up let alone play football today. After it felt like we had maybe taken a couple of tentative steps forward in the battle for survival it feels like we have just taken 10 steps back.

That was truly awful and I am feeling resigned to relegation now.

Everton were crap. Absolute crap! They genuinely didn't look like they had many ideas going forwards themselves until they scored. But we were so much worse. Clueless. I said before this game we could win it if we showed a bit of fight. I think only Dunn did and he's just a fat man with broken legs. That game showed about as little fight as we did at Villa.

I am miserable with a crappy dissertation to write supporting a (pooey) football team owned by a bunch of (plonkers) who are bunch of ugly fat (cluckers) sucking the (sausage) of any minor celebrity out there. Spoilt little (pooheads) (clucking) up our proud club.

I am not happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Venky's came to the club they, like any new owner, were looking to impress the fans. They did so by talking about playing better football and finishing higher in the table.

The fans who idiotically sniped at Allardyce for everything he did, including winning 3-0 against a potential relegation rival, had a hand to play in his sacking. Not a huge one, but I have no doubt Venky's took those opinions into account. We've already been told their representatives have and do keep an eye on this board. The negative bile spewed in Allardyce's direction by many of our fans despite his impressive results made Venky's decision to sack Sam far easier, because they knew there wouldn't be any major outcry - like there should have been. Shame those of us who did back Sam are having to face the same consequences as those who were so desperate for him to leave. It does make me bitter, especially looking at the situation now. Still, maybe we'll be able to play that elusive "beautiful football" in the Championship.

I'd like to think I'm generally a fairly rational poster and I don't mean to offend or hurt anybody with what I'm saying... but i'm so furious and depressed right now at what is going on at our club that I feel like venting. My original 'reap what you sow' comment was churlish perhaps, but not without merit.

We are the worst team in the league since Keane took over. I never liked Sam, but to be honest, I'd give both testicles for him to be back now. I'd get down on my hands and knees for his hoofball. I was wrong.:(

Thats big of you Dan. I'm sure that you'll feel much better now you've admitted that but unforunately I bloody well don't. You live and learn eh? Remember to walk your own path through life and not follow the mob in future.

Premier league status was too precious to blithely discard but in attacking the manager so vehemently under the gaze of the new owners that is exactly what we have done.

It's never too late to sack the manager when you're still above the relegation zone.

FFS, just get rid now and bring someone in who can at least motivate the team. Keeping alert at set pieces is basic stuff and it doesn't matter how good/crap your players are.

Before today I had just that little bit of confidence we'd get the 6 points we needed. I didn't really care about the other teams, but looking at it now we're not going to find a win from any of the remaining fixtures and going to West Ham and Wolves only means we're going down with Blackpool.

Even putting Nelsen in temporary charge would be better at this stage.

Don't talk crap, a handful of fans booing an attack breaking down didn't have any effect at all on Sam's future at the club.

Only two players, Robinson ad Dunn, felt anything about that defeat. Samba's eyes said it all. This is a beaten side. Only luck will keep us up.

Godson is a dump. I wanna go home.......

We are fooked. The egg head hasn't got a bloody clue. It's hit me, we ARE going down. All because those ###### at the trust sold us to clueless idiots. I hope they can sleep at night, because this is definitely not in Jacks wishes. :'-(

Thats absolute unadulterated bloody rubbish Dan! The previous owners sold a stable mid table-club which was in decent shape and under solid management and direction. Lets hear no more of that stupidity.

And last but nt least kean to learn the trade slowly and us pissing on a new published book by venky.....(how we use millions to attain championship standard in 6 months time?)

100%

Lookng at the table, with games against two of our relgation rivals to come, we really can make a change even now.

The previous owners sold a devalued product with a squad starved of investment.

Totally disagree.

The Waker Trust had ONE final action to take for Jack and his legacy.

They have failed it, utterly.

Didn't say that though did I?

Fact was the opinion towards Allardyce was overly negative from the moment he arrived and no matter what he did for the club in terms of saving us from relegation and taking us to a very good league finish there was still negativity thrown in his direction constantly. He was never a well-liked man around here and it made Venky's decision to sack him easier.

I should know, during that Christmas where under Allardyce we went on a fairly poor run I was one of a very few defending him on here and got bashed for it numerous times.

I concur. I've been depressed about the club since Venky's pressed the self-destruct button by sacking Sam. It annoyed me then and it annoys me now that while I was going through that pain, some people were rejoicing in the sacking of someone who had done such a good job for the club.

FFS HOW CAN YOU BLAME THAT ON WHATS HAPPENNING? THOSE CHICKEN DIPPERS APPOINTED BREW BOY ITS THEM WHO HAVE SOWN THE FRIGGING SEEDS NOT THE FANS FFS!!!!!!

bbey.... No responsibility can be attached to the majority of supporters but the ones who booed so vehemently at 3-0 up against Wolves etc simply cannot be true supporters and a. should have known that the new owners were very impressionable. and b. take their share of responsibility for their stupid actions.

btw.... Can you give me another example of fans greeting a 3-0 win with a chorus of boos?

could have been 7pts clear of bottom club wigan if results went well, but they did'nt go well and we are 1 point ahead going into some absolute b*****d games now.

WE NEED SOME URGENCY IN THE BOARDROOM PULLING OUT P45'S.

Cannot recall going this many months without positive things to write in the post match thread.

I dont think getting beat at Old Trafford 7-1 whilst the new owners were enjoying their garden party did Sam much good either.

I was one of those few and was bashed for it as well, so I have absolutely no sympathy for anyone. People need to learn that there are consequences for their actions.

By the way DE4Life, somehow I don't think it's coincidence that someone with a similar mindset to me on this site is quoting lyrics from Kamelot, one of my favourite bands!
