btw.... Can you give me another example of fans greeting a 3-0 win with a chorus of boos?

the boos were by a tiny minority fed up of watching the football played in a certain way. the boos came when we had the ball on the left with 5 mins to go. we outnumbered their defence by 2, yet sam was screaming for the ball to be played back.

people weren't booing the win, hey were making their feelings known about the style.

and for the record - i've never boo'd our players whilst playing. I save it for the messageboard ;-)

the football under sam was rubbish to watch and going to ewood wasnt fun. the fans are not to blame for this situation. i know it makes you feel that you are all better fans than others because we have failed since he left and it also shows you are a little bit proud that you were right that it has gone downhill since then.

i was happy that sam left and im not ashamed of it. one thing that no one expected was the appointment of a nobody. if we had got a proper manager then i doubt we would be in this position. there is nothing that we as fans can do now, as voicing are opinions at ewood wont do anything, as venkys never even come to the matches and just arnt interested.

Well im just on way from everton and meh is the best i can think! I cant recall a shot we had in the first half. Rochina looked promising but our play was summed up i think by a corner took by Dunn which 5 seconds later was at Robbo's feet. Second half once Everton scored was pretty much game over.

Was a bit of fighting amongst the fans too after people were singing about kean and other people disagreed.

We've got to.seriously rely on others cos we arent gonna get out of it ourselves.

The fans who idiotically sniped at Allardyce for everything he did, including winning 3-0 against a potential relegation rival, had a hand to play in his sacking. Not a huge one, but I have no doubt Venky's took those opinions into account. We've already been told their representatives have and do keep an eye on this board.

Sounds like you've got good taste mate think those lyrics have been my sig since I joined the board. I haven't liked their last two albums so much, but anything before Ghost Opera is fantastic.

Dont let facts get in the way of the point that you are trying to make. I have never wanted him but gave him a chance, wanted him gone since Fulham, but he is not going anywhere, what can you do other than support the manager and the team at this stage? Depressing state of affairs.

Again Abbs, that's not what I'm saying. All i'm saying is I believe the overall negativity of the fans towards a manager that did a lot to keep this club in the division despite massive underinvestment by our owners helped them make up their minds.

Obviously a lot of the blame is on the owners, indeed most of it, but I believe beyond a doubt that the general negativity of many supporters towards Allardyce (and it wasn't a few, it was a lot) played a part. Whether that's true or not only Venky's know, but they've cocked up either way, and it looks like it's going to cost us our premier league status.

i didnt like the football we played under sam. in fact i hated it, but i knew it got us results. i never booed at the ground but it doesnt mean i had to like watching his style.

when he was sacked i didnt really get that upset about it. actually i got excited about who we could get in but then this idiot was appointed.

Why on earth are the fans turning on each other? Some liked Sam, some didnt, some wanted him out, some didnt. Isnt that football?? Different opinions. The ones blaming the sam bashers.....do you think the venkys listened to fans and thought it was easier to get him out because some fans didnt want him. If that was the case, Kean would have been sacked weeks ago.

The Venkys wanted sam out from the beginning, probably like they wanted john williams out from the beginning, but they needed to find the right excuse to do that and 7 - 1 against man united was the perfect excuse. They wanted the club to be run their way from the start and needed to find the right moment, it had nothing to do with whether fans wanted him out. The venkys made the decision by themselves, blaming the fans isnt going to help or get us anywhere. We are already a laughing stock, fans turning on each other, on here and in the stands is making us more of a shambles than it already is.
