Billy Castell Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 The digital switchover has taken place in the midlands, and it seems that my digibox has decided not to work. BBC 2, BBC News, and all the BBC radio stations have all been removed. That is, the channel is listed, but there is no signal and my digibox has a symbol in the corner suggesting it's about to be deleted. Other channels such as ITV and Sky News are unaffected. I have a non-digital TV, and probably a non-digital aerial on the roof if that might have something to do with it. Any ideas what is going on?

brian_gallagher85 Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Could be entirely wrong, but our old sky digibox did similar to this just before it died. Have you tried a retune? We don't even have bloody freeview broadcasting yet
Tango Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Think the BBC stations have been bumped onto a different frequency band. If you retune your digibox it should find them again. Useful freeview advice on transmission powers etc can be found at www.ukfree.tv - just whack your postcode in the box top right hand corner.
Billy Castell Posted April 12, 2011 Author Posted April 12, 2011 I'll try and retune it automatically. Again. Then I'll do the 1st time installation again. Thanks for the advice so far.
