Well I thought it would be the usual £15 deal.

Can't knock that.

Agreed, thought the days of cheap tickets could be numbered, but apparently not, 2 deals in short succession.

Well done Venkys.

I'm bringing two of my nephews. You can't knock it. At least Rovers continue to try to give football back to the fans. I just hope it continues next season whatever happens.

By the looks of it theres no tickets on sale for the Darwen End, unless its just my log on not letting me see that area of the ground - its happened before.

Don't forget anyone who had a losing £10 in-stadium bet at the Birmingham game can claim 2 free tickets for the game.

Does anyone know where these tickets will be for?

Season ticket holders there aren't being moved so they definately don't have the whole stand (although at £10 a ticket I'd imagine they have 3/4 of it). Maybe after the trouble against Birmingham and with this being our biggest derby after Burnley they're trying to make sure no Rovers nutters decide to turn up or no Bolton fans get a ticket in there. Kinda annoying if thats the case, the trouble against Birmingham was entirely caused by the away fans, the response to it should be to reduce Bolton's allocation rather than cut down on the number of Rovers fans able to buy tickets in the DE.

Let`s hope the policing outside the DE at full-time is better. There could be a major kick-off if its owt like the Brum match policing (which was non-existant)

£10 for one of our big local rivals at such a crucial time of the season is a steal, would be very surprised if this isn't a full house.

I don't think Bolton will be selling their share of the tickets off for a tenner each, last week was just Birmingham selling them cheaper than usual to their own fans to get supporters up for a relegation battle.

You not in the DE every week Ben?

Yes I transfer my ST seat game-by-game.

Darwen End tickets are now available online, but you must have purchase history (only when buying online) due to it being a local derby and £10.00 a ticket. I guess that means Bolton will only get the upper.

I wonder if the Darwen End surplus is part of the offer that the bookies had on last week. If you lost a ten pound bet you got two free tickets for the Bolton game. I guess that's why you can't get tickets in the other DE section.

Its in the premier league rules that clubs have to charge home and away fans the same price for matchday tickets, so the Bolton fans will definitely be charged £10 as well.

My season ticket is in the Riverside but I was thinking about getting a ticket in the Darwen End for this game as it's the last game of the season for our fans in that stand.I heard that Darwen End season ticket holders have no seat number allocated to them so they can sit where they like, what is the protocol for seating when you purchase a single ticket for the game?

Just sit where you like Josh. I think there are a group who usually head to the top left of the stand so they might sit around you if you perch yourself up there but I don't think anyone would actually ask you to move.

Cheers, I usually turn up just before kick-off so I'll look for any empty seats

Yeah it's completely unreserved.

If you like to stand and be around the singers head to the end block nearest to the Riverside :D

I have a Riverside Season Ticket and transfer every game now... love the Darwen End!

  • 2 weeks later...

Can't see a proper thread for this match yet.

I imagine the W**** Wanderers are drooling at the prospect of putting a massive nail in the coffin that is our impending relegation.

This is a fixture where in the past i'd say 3 points in previous season's but all I can see is Steve Kean getting outsmarted by a manager who he probably wishes he was.

2-1 Bolton.

Just got my extra £8 behind-the-post ticket :D

I'm doing a double header for this game - going to Rovers then going to watch Wigan. So it could be a very good day, or a very bad one!!
