This mb is so depressing right now. We seem so devoid of hope and belief, and it's a bit of a downward spiral. I know in my heart of hearts that we have the players to do what is necessary to keep us up. I saw how hard we fought against Arsenal and how well we played against Liverpool.

The Rovers faithful can and will do their bit but what we need now is a hero or two to step forward and be the difference.

Who is capable of being that catalyst and answer the SOS call to save our season?

A lung busting performance from Super Phil Jones? A captain marvel display from Samba? A rocket from Roque? A six game cameo from Rochina?

Can someone offer something to cling to during our time of need, against the odds and in the face of such pessimism and negativity? I need some hope (or maybe just help)!

COYB!

You will fight hard against Arsenal and play well against Liverpool next season too. You will NOT go down. As an outsider I can say that with total confidence.

Yes mathematically you can be relegated, but mathematically my lot can be playing in the Champions League. It is not going to happen is it? And neither will Blackburn be in the bottom three at the end of the season.

Chin up mate.

Phil Jones, enough said.

In my honest opinion, Phil and Jermaine Jones alongside a ball-playing midfielder like Dunn gives us a central midfield edge we've lacked totally since the best days of Robbie Savage. We still need three in there, mind you, but we can contain any team in the Premier League on a good day now.

David Hoilett is the biggest crowd-pleaser since Bellamy. And Gamst Pedersen has hit the worst form seen since Javi De Pedro, but that's for another thread.

It will be a nervous month, but there are definitely bright spots.

I actually think there are quiet a few heros in the Rovers squad.

Samba gives 110% most games and is happy to play in any position.

Salgado runs his little legs off all game and never ever quits. Shame he does not have a young WB/RB to take him under his wing and show them how its done.

Robbo just gets on with it and has been MOM for me in many of the games.

Phil Jones he is a local lad but not a hero yet needs a few more years. Could be an amazing player in 2 years time, hope the club can bring in players to share the burden. As we have seen with Gerrard at Liverpool, these players can only carry a team so far they need help.

I dreamt last night that Rochina was thrown in at the deep end on Sat and was out of this world and bagged a brace and instantly became a hero and continued to do so until the end of the season oh and he scored a sublime lob against Man Utd in our final home match and he celebrated like shearer (towards the old blackburn end) with his hands raised and reaping the praise from the crowd

A few potential ones in there, Hoilett is the standout candidate to make a difference.

Dunn may look finished but has a passion like any of us in the stand and that could come into play at the death.

If we stay up by a point then Olsson is already a hero for his block at Arsenal.

I think Rochina will get some time against City and lift the whole team and crowd giving us new hope.
