broadsword Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Almost £1 a minute. Still, I'm sure stockbrokers can afford it.
roversmum Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Whew - I take it that won't be in the lower area where the away supporters sit - the sightlines are pretty bad there.
Mattyblue Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Good job Rovers are always Category Z at away grounds!
Grabbi Graeme Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 It is a very steep price, I haven't been to Stamford Bridge, the main reason being the price of a ticket.
chocky Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Just seen on sky chelsea are to introduce a AA cat for matches next season, robbing russian cockney scum are charging £87 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the @#/?s know that those clubs will always find enough away fans to fill the allocation..
Ossydave Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 The FA have put some ticket prices up to £115 for the cup final too, even for a final that is shocking, especially when it will be the 2nd visit for a lot of fans.
ABBEY Posted April 14, 2011 Author Posted April 14, 2011 hands up ..who hand on heart would pay that to watch rovers ,apart from a cup final.
Parsonblue Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 We paid £50 this season at Chelsea and its been £48 for the past three seasons. I don't see Rovers being an AA game, but it will be interesting to see if they stick to the £50 or if that moves up again. At least at Chelsea its a decent view from the top tier of the stand they put away fans in. The problem is that Chelsea, and most of the London grounds, know they can fill it with their own supporters not to mention the countless tourists that find their way into the away end. At Arsenal the other week the Rovers' corner was filled with tourists and Arsenal fans.
Sandiway Blue Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Anybody daft enough to pay that amount of money deserve to be charged that amount! Once it starts getting above £35 a game it`s time to pack it in..
Seedstral Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I overheard on the radio tonight that the comparison with inflation etc from 1999 to now the cheapest ticket would have been £21 compared with £12 back then!!! Is it any wonder people are getting fed up of being ripped off up and down the country!!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 CHEAPEST ticket for Champions league final at Wembley?......only £176 to you Sir!!
roverwhelmed Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 It certainly isn't a working man's sport any more. It does make me feel more proud of Rovers' pricing initiatives, we are so lucky in that respect.
thenodrog Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Just seen on sky chelsea are to introduce a AA cat for matches next season, robbing russian cockney scum are charging £87 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, never mind eh? btw..... How much do Brighton and Soton charge?
PAFELL Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Just seen on sky chelsea are to introduce a AA cat for matches next season, robbing russian cockney scum are charging £87 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rovers should charge away supporters the same price the clubs charge Rovers supporters when we go to their grounds.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Oh well, never mind eh? btw..... How much do Brighton and Soton charge? I think it's £20 at Rochdale. I can walk it in 25 minutes from where I live . Could be a cheap day out next season..
