Before all the slagging starts happening, I think we've done blummin' well today considering we're playing a side who are full of class players who would all get in our side.

We didn't deserve to lose this, maybe didn't deserve to win either but certainly deserved a point.

A mistake cost us but we certainly didn't give up.

Well done Rovers. Unlucky

Simply put, we have no quality in our squad and this is what cost us. City have spent millions upon million s importing quality into their team and that's why they beat us tonight.

I cannot fault the effort tonight, however for all our "pressure" we never tested Joe Hart. We don't look like we know how to score a goal, lots of endeavour but no cutting edge.

We had one chance, one solitary, brilliant chance, and sadly for us we had Jason "barn door" Roberts available to attempt to convert it. Obviously he did anything but.

Our set pieces tonight were dreadful.

Can't really be arsed to analyse it any further. We won't go down based on this result, but the reasons we are where we are were plain for all to see.

Pedersen a central midfielder, Rochina coming on changed our shape and we had a diamond in midfield. But if I'm only getting a straight choice then yes I'd have played Keith before the kid who hasn't played 90 minutes in this league period. :P

Bah.

Agree with this all.

We still have not won in 10 premier league outings and 11 in total.

We still need to change the manager.

Lots of soft attempts - I think we were trying to pass it in to the net

Much better performance than feared, City were lucky to take all points.

Blame the idol Phil Jones for the City goal as is fair, not Kean's fault.

Can't believe how poor our set piece deliveries are without MGP (although Rochina takes a decent corner).

Massively, massively unlucky to lose again today, but that's been Kean's problem. He's not a lucky manager.

A lucky manager gets two penalties today and a few other bounces of the ball. Instead we lose 1-0 despite being the better team on show.

That said you just can't compete with the money Citeh have spent. Their starting XI is bad enough, but their bench is ###### insane. FIFA and the FA need to get a ###### grip on this sport. It's madness.

Based on this result we will go down. We can't pass, can't score, can't keep the other side out and we have to play away at West Ham (where obviously we'll get bugger all). It's not looking good.

Unlucky. The challenge on Roberts was a penalty and for the vast majority of that match we were the much better side. If we play like that in the final four games we will be fine. We could really do with one of our strikers finding a bit of form for the final couple of games.

Jon Stead, where art thou?

Well played lads, despite the ref having a shocker:

1. Clear pen no doubt about it.

2. Balloteli was in front d Robbo interfering with play offside.

3. Silva takes a full minute walking off the pitch ref adds 30 secs, what's that about?

We need Hoilett back but go into the final game with some hope.
