Wolves have a game in hand and an easy run-in.

West Ham are bottom and play City next, but then have three winnable games, so a couple of wins could well do them.

Since there's five teams who are most at risk, it just needs two teams to pull themselves clear.

It's ok having winnable games but you have to win them, although we shouldnt rely on other results we just might have to, as well as picking up the odd point.

Not the performance of a relegation side, but we really could've done with a point tonight. Can't see us getting more than 2 points from last three games, so it's all down to whether we can beat Bolton.

Phil Jones, bloody hell. He was a gladiator out there. What a player.

How long a contract is he on?

According to some here, we will lose all games till the end of the season and the teams around us will win them all, even the ones plaied between them (ridiculous but I have been affected by some here).

We played well today, could have got at least a point (and deserved it), the ref didn't do his job (again!!) and I hope we play like this in the next games.

Just got back - heartened by the effort and fight, but Roberts did what Roberts does best and at this level you cannot afford to start games with a striker who doesn't score. Roberts and Benjani remind me of Ward and Blake - and we all know how that season ended.

Bolton is now a must-win, or it's bye-bye Premier League IMO.

We are virtually 1 point off the Relegation zone. It takes one of the candidates to win to put us on the edge. We haven't won in ten games so it may be a stretch imagining we draw our way to safety. Bolton we must win. But same held true with around 5 of our last 10 games.

Positive thinking is the answer?

Awesome.

A performance like tonight will beat Bolton and maybe even WHU away. If all the teams around us draw every game and so do rovers we are safe. There is no choice but to get behind the players as fans did tonight. Until the fat lady starts singing, I will remain positive. Why, Because I am Rovers till I die. WE ARE NOT DEAD YET. I HATE THE RESULT TONIGHT, HATE THE CURRENT OFFSIDE RULE - but I love my club. So until it is all over, negative posts like yours tonight does not do any of us any good. KEEP SINGING FOR THE BOYS.

Bolton is now must win for me, fail to do that and it's game over. Then again sadly I think all signs point to the drop, we played well tonight and yet away come away nothing but a goal worse off.

-I feel a bit for Rochina, he showed his obvious talents but then had a bit of a Derbyshire moment, he will learn but I really think he has to play further forward to minimise that sort of thing.

-Credit to the back four they were solid all night.

- We looked a far worse team when Benjani - who I thought was really good was replaced by Niko - who looked like a lost puppy doing a Jason Roberts impression of trying to win a free kick rather than the ball.

- The fans were behind the team we could hardly have done more on our part at least.

- I didn't see the penalty shout but I thought the ref was very generous to us at times, Roberts conned a few free kicks out of him but he should have clamped down on the time wasting.

On to Bolton, win or bust. Benjani and Rochina up top please.

plenty of heart but that wont be enough.

bolton are under no pressure at ewood and will come and pick us off because we have no midfield creativity.

dunn is a spent force, andrews is crud, emerton and mgp are off form whilst jj is fighting the fight alone.

kean, roberts and benjani is a nono.

we are doomed, good night :angry2:

Pederson was not playing tonight - yet still receives a bad post.

A performance like tonight doesn't mean we will best Bolton. We could quite easily get done by a ref's bad decision and lose 0-1.

Everyone pulls stats outta their arse to back up "Allardyce the hero" claims but no one accepts that our results away our awful, and we haven't won a game since january. Bolton, like our last 5 games is a must win, but I'll be honest I am not holding my breath.

I am a rovers fan and I will continue my support for the team for as long as it is a team. I just can't see us surviving relegation.

Positive thinking, effectively does nothing.

People can slate Roberts and Benjani all they want but Niko "better than Drogba and Rooney" Kalinic gave the ball away about four times in the space of five minutes when he came on. I thought Benjani had a good game to be honest and his hold-up play was good. But like all our strikers they seemingly don't know where the back of the net is. Strange we decided to play two upfornt against City as oppose to the one upfront we have been playing. Didn't think it would work but the 4-1-2-1-2 formation was actual pretty effective once we got beyond the first 20 minutes or so. But once Dunn went off we should have changed to be honest, Rochina looked like a square-peg in a round hole (he's a striker isn't he?) and ultimately we lost momentum of the game and he gave the ball away that led to the goal.
