Please no Roberts, Please no Andrews.

I agree with the team Jimmy612 posted, except I'd put Holiett on the left and play Rochina from the right. Although I've got the funny feeling it won't be anything like that team.

Cant believe people keep harping on about Kalinic hes been poor for us against City we need pace, movement, and strength. So which one does Kalinic fit, personally dont think he has one of the above.

Strength for me in first place would be Roberts, for pace would be Diouf, and for movement maybe the best two are these two guys again.

For putting the ball in the net, Oh dear !

I'd agree with this team, it could be jigged around putting Olsson on the wing and moving Rochina more central. I also believe that even though Jones is a Defender we seriously missed him in Midfield and Dunnys legs just aren't up to it and Pedersen isn't up for a relegation battle. So with the bite of Jones and Jones and the flair of the top4 together it gives no other choice than Hanley in Defence which I don't think is too much of a worry.

----------------------------Robbo

------Salgado------Samba-------Hanley------Givet

---------------------Jones-------Jones---------

-------Hoilett--------------------------------Olsson

--------------------------Rochina

------------------------------Kalinic

Interesting formation, I like this the best. Good to see Olsson not at left back, he is not a defender and often fails to get back in position after an attack.

Good shout that one.

City are normally quite reserved, even at home, so we just need to go for it.

IMO, could cause them some real problems with that line-up, provided we are on the front foot from the start !

However, with our manager, would expect to see Roberts start and an entirely different line-up / formation.

Well the one bit of hope I am holding onto is there seems to have been a bit of a change in attitude at Ewood this week. It seems Kean and possibly the players now realize the battle we are in.

When Warnock layed into Diouf, when we were done by the dodgy penalty decision and Givet sending off at Fulham, the Howard Webb performance against Blackpool, the woeful performances by much of our team. During none of these and many other situations has Kean ever been bullish or ###### off. Simply choosing the logical approach without fight. Men are not inspired by logic!!!

We need that ###### off backs to the wall fighting spirt. I'm hoping this "underserved criticism" is finally getting under Kean's skin and provoking a bit of raw emotion. I want to see MGP coming off the bench scared to go back into the dressing room after the match if he doesn't sweat blood and tears for the cause.

A response is needed. Some fight. The one element we have been lacking. Unity under the pressure.

Well that is my one slim hope. But i hold out so little hope for Monday it's untrue.

Kalinic may not have pace, strength or movement but he has more of one thing than any other striker in our squad...goals!

In the words of the magician 'Not a lot'.
