chris Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Surely he is our best option he has saved us before, he has respect, experience and knowledge. He took us from 20th to 13th safety and did a sound job at Blackpool. Even a fresh face could make a difference. Get ride of that clown Kean.

chaddyrovers Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 TP with Nelsen as assistant. both legends for the club miles better than K and J.
martonrover Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 I agree but there's no chance as Venkeys will have probably never heard of him,(even though he's now scouting for us)
RevidgeBlue Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 TP has done brilliantly for us in the past but his most recent caretaker spells weren't as successful as the earlier ones and I'm not sure if he would be a good call at his time of life and also with what he has had to endure privately in recent years with hi wife dying. That said I'm not sure if I'm starting to come round to the line of thinking that anything is worth a try in the hope a change can spark a couple of results from somewhere. That's all we need.
Stuart Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 I was looking for a TP thread. I thought he was looking really well from the photo on the LT today (of the "Evening with..." session). Just saying...
DanLad Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Just out of interest... WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY????????????
Waggy76 Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 I think it would grossly unfair to ask TP to be the manager again , even if only for 5 games...The guy is a legend and I for one do not want see that status tarnished , by taking BRFC down to the championship...To be quite honest ,not sure any one can save us now !!!
AggyBlue Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 .To be quite honest ,not sure any one can save us now !!! Snap. I'm resigned to Championship football next season
Amo Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Too old for this game. And at least before he'd worked with the players on a daily basis. Now he's just a part-time scout.
Mercer Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Too old for this game. And at least before he'd worked with the players on a daily basis. Now he's just a part-time scout. What at nearly ten years younger than SAF. TP is up for the challenge !!!
Ben-2000 Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 What at nearly ten years younger than SAF. TP is up for the challenge !!! and most of all COMPETANT and EXPERIENCED
booth Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 He'd have the team organized if nothing else, I'd prefer him 100x over Kean.
BangkokRover Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 With only 5 games to go i am not sure what a change of manager will achieve
booth Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 With only 5 games to go i am not sure what a change of manager will achieve I can't see what keeping the present manager will achieve. We haven't won since January. The team are playing worse every game. Perhaps a honeymoon period under a new manager may generate a few points. And coincidentally a few points is what we need to stay up.
Inta Beaver Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 I'd take Maradona for that few games he can't be any worse than Kean.
