For once life is straightforward and simple.

ROVERS FANS HAVE GOT TO GET BEHIND THE PLAYERS FOR THE NEXT c.470 MINUTES OF FOOTBALL.

always do but go one down against city and i can see the tide turning into a tidal wave of pure anger and hate.

Now, if a large percentage of Rovers fans protested with their feet, well Venky's would have to sit up and take notice.

But that will never happen.

Why would they??

Even if we lost 5000 ST holders it would only equate to just over £1m a season (based on £210 ave)....you sure they would take much notice of that?!

The only creditable words spoken by Kean in months should be adopted by the fans.

Turn all the anger into positive energy and support BRFC in the next five games, after that full steam ahead against getting Kean and Co. out of our club.

Bad move to quote Kean about anything positive.

Let's just ignore him and focus on the players.

I can see the same thing Abbey, the atmos will be edgey and nervy around the ground. We are all desperate for those 3 points, but as soon as we go 1 down, we know its a big ask and the nerves will turn into anger.

And not only off the pitch.

Go 1 nil down and game will be as good as over given our record this season.

Goals breed confidence - we have to take the lead no doubt about it and see where that takes us.

whats the point? They don't give a **** anyway and nothing will change. Go bark at the moon you will have more luck.

If you do nothing then you don't know what effect it could have. Nothing is an easy option which countless teams fans have taken and now take their places in the lower divisions.

The point is that Venky's are very PR aware, they aren't very good at it but are aware of it. A fans protest against the manager makes them appear out of control of events and that compiled with maybe being in the relegation zone.

Todays LT

Douglas - THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR PROTESTS

Douggie is worried but says focus needs to be on survival, not protests.

This time he is wrong. The players haven't reacted to the fans support so now is the time to do something to change the course of the future of the club. No in game protests but a good sized one outside the players entrance at full time would be brilliant. Kean Out t-shirts (on sale from all good BRFCS stores) on display.

Who said anything about Venkys having the great plans Andy?

This 'in the know' stuff creeps people out I know but whilst you don't know me from Adam I urge you to trust me on this one. The prime directive has to be that we survive this year, nothing must get in the way - then - well good things come to those who wait. Kean is NOT going this year so we need a Plan B, protesting will do nothing constructive in this regard.

If I wasn't convinced about these off stage goings-on I'd be the first to call for someone to be strung up from a lamppost by the scrotum. No one is more angry than me I promise you but this is the time to encourage the team and not a time to give anyone an excuse to underperform.

Protesting and p!ssing on one's chips amount to one and the same thing in this context. Again I urge everyone to get behind the team at every match and not to protest.

I remember once before warning on here that JW would be ejected and I also remember getting upset with other posters for not reacting early enough to maybe do something about it - that's all past now and is water under the bridge - but this is another of those situations, at the risk of sounding even more pompous and self-righteous I'm asking that we all show a bit of trust, we now have a chance to positively influence something that we all want. This is much better than having an after the event a drains-up and blame-fest. In the end it comes down to your instinct and I hope that all of us make the right call on this. We're all tugging on the same rope Andy we just need to make sure that we're all tugging in the same direction.

If you feel the need to PM me then please do.

I did, still waiting a reply

So when is? When we go down under Kean? When it's too late?

Read Timmyjimmys posts of today - supporting the team in order to try to influence them to play better and then hope this helps the team in the premiership is paramount - it is essential. I was all for protest etc etc but they have to wait - for a little while.

We have a worldwide audience on Monday night, will there be a better opportunity to get the coverage?

Please read the thread - there is a reason why folk are being asked not to protest, but to get behind the team instead, to help them stay up.

End of season for protests,

But support the team - more than normal - is now

"Give the players full support"

Totally agree - but the fans have given the players total backing for the last 10 games, when does it stop?

IF we get a result on monday, I would hope that any protest against Kean/Venkys still goes ahead.

I think he's got the worst managerial record in the history of the Premier League, and we're meant to tip-toe round the issue.

Venkys have got away with so many mistakes since they took over without any sort of protest, they deserve to be shown that fans aren't going to lie down and watch the club die or be treated like fools (with the lack of communication and the rubbish Kean comes out with)

Go on the the LET website and the Rovers page and read the article from bryan douglas (anybody who can do liknks please do so - and PM me how to do it) The time is not now.

That article is a plea from an ex player, because there are other reasons.

This is not the time for protests, insists Blackburn Rovers legend

The most worrying part for me is:

Co-owners Anuradha Desai, Venkatesh Rao and Balaji Rao were once again unavailable for comment yesterday but a source close to them told the Lancashire Telegraph Kean would remain in charge, despite being fully aware of the growing unrest around Ewood.

Venky's are aware of the situation but they are keeping silent until the outcome has been found. They are not doing this to 'protect themselves' or any other such rubbish. They are keeping away from the press to allow the focus to be entirely on picking up the necessary points to stay up. 'Unwelcome distractions' I believe they are called. Making statements now, regardless of how bad/good they are will obviously push pressure levels further up so they are doing the best thing and keeping silent. They want the fans to be behind the team 100%.

One of the few good decisions they've made I suppose.

If Rovers had won a couple of games or put in some really decent performances during the last 10 his point would have been more valid as there would have been signs that the players could maybe get us out of this mess and therefore supporting them as much as possible might mean we just survive.

But Rovers haven't won for ten games and there is no trust at all in the players or the current manager...

I have no doubt that the players will get backed against City but it's likely going to be futile against a superior side with a squad full of rubbish and a inept manager. If Rovers get hammered which could be very likely it's going to turn really nasty.

I just wonder if there had been more or a protest after the Fulham game and when we had international breaks that this would have forced Venky's hand to get rid and bring in a new manager with some winnable games coming up. With a new manager effect Rovers could have been pretty much safe by now.

Very correct and also shows that they are listening to advice from people at Ewood to keep quiet and make sure all interviews are done via PAPR (Paul Agnew PR).

Good that they are keeping quiet because up until now whenever they have talked it has caused problems.

I know these people are actively trying to destroy our club through their indifference and incompetence but sod them.

We are Blackburn Rovers supporters and we are far more important than they are.

We have commitment on our side. We have passion on our side. We have the pride of 136 years of history on our side.

WE ARE NOT GOING TO LET THESE ARROGANT FOOLS DESTROY OUR SPIRIT.

GET BEHIND THE LADS. :rover:
