Don't know about cameras, I didn't hang around but they looked like a bunch of chavvy kids and nothing serious.

Imagine how the players will think after a performance like tonight (forget the result - nobody thought we would win anyway)They come out to the ground to go home. To hear fans protesting - they would bear the brunt of it, after all they are the ones on the pitch. they'd be gutted. The performance tonight was good. If we can keep that up till the end of the season we will be ok.

Well I did my bit.

Told some cretin to stop clambering over Jack's head.

Rovers will stay up. If they play like they did tonight (first 20 muinutes aside).Rovers goal average is better than the rest of those around us. We will beat Bolton and maybe whu - though a draw I will be contect with. wolves will be down and out by the time rovers play them - or one of the other teams around us.

I have to say you don't appear to understand. The fans supported the team throughout the match, there was not a murmur of discontent. If supporters then wish to express their concerns about the club's owners, outside the ground and after the game, they have every right to. Any player with the slightest inkling of how the fans feel will understand the difference. It seems some supporters can't or won't see the difference.

It certainly looked a bit daft. No banners, just a lot of "Stuff your F-in chickens up your arse" - for about 15 minutes then marched off towards the front of the stadium at which point we went to the car. Watched by several stewards.

Pretty sure the players sneaked off down a side exit anyway!

I didn't agree with the climbing on the statue at all, bloody idiotic.

I went to have a look... the principle of voicing the concerns was right and at the right time (end of game), but it did get a little silly when people ran in front of the camera etc...

Needs better organisation... banners etc too not just a chance to try and get on TV. Although coverage of a protest is good if done correctly.

Well done to everyone for backing the lads, not one boo at the end either that I could hear...

I have it on good authority that the "protests" tonight were engineered by the Venkys who now want out......

They are worried that if we continue to play like we did against city then we might just stay up and ruin their plans

Key Rovers fans have been paid to ensure that the players are dispirited and our fans start to fight amongst ourselves during the four remaining games and so fail to get behind the team......

Having received all the publicity they could ever have dreamed of by their short tenancy of Rovers they want to recoup more than they invested by the windfall that our relegation will bring them - parachute payments/star players transfer fees/selling Ewood to Tescos etc. etc. etc.............

Well done lads :brfcsmilie:<_<:angry2:

The time to protest is now

You must have felt a right prat with the 3 dozen spotty Facebook kids outside Blues Bar!

Protest!? Hahaha - what a load of balls. Ewood Park solidly behind the lads from the 1st minute to the 95th.

I'd say closer to 100, 150 at the start but people just left, probably put off by some of the know nothings chanting rubbish.

I'm angry and joined in with the odd song but most of the people were just bloody daft and chavvy.

Plus we played okay and I wasn't that angry, more disappointed.

Climbing all over Uncle Jack is disrespectful.

I understand fully. The season is not over yet. Protests are not going to achieve anything. What happened tonight may even give venkys an idea to remove the statue of Uncle Jack.

Venkys are not going to listen - they intend doing it their way and nothing is going to stop them. They will not remove Kean, at least this season. they themselves are not going anywhere - unless somebody buys them out. Is that going to happen.

You posted a photo of yourself on this website so I know what a prat looks like thank you.

Still feeling good about yourself after celebrating the removal of "slug face" (your words) Sam Allardyce.

Your knowledge of football is in inverse proportion to the size of your beer gut.

Just quoting this so you can't delete it in the morning.

The desperate words of a failed wannabe flag waver

Must have Venkeys cowering in fear in a spare chicken coup.

Stick your chickens up your arse.... Ha

I expected you in a robe, in flames, Mr. Jim.

Terribly disappointed with all of this.

5 minutes after the full time whistle there were about 30 knuckle draggers around Jacks statue. Can't imagine that swelled anywhere near 50 let alone 150. Apathy and sad resignation to the inevitable ruled.

Looked like more to me, but either way wasn't loads, and there was probably only a few brain cells between them.

I was only there waiting for my friend.

Although I think a lot of Rovers fans just aren't that bothered anymore. They want us to stay up, but if we go down they just won't turn up. Ewood was never going to get too nasty tonight, whether we got tubbed or not.

Have to say the crowd were absolutely fantastic last night, not one negative chant and criticism for Venky's was cunningly implied by belting out rousing renditions of "Uncle Jack's barmy Army" and "There's only one Jack Walker"

Well done everyone.

As for the protest heard some "We want our Club back" chants outside the Blackburn End after the final whistle, which having lost the game was also the way to go about it if you felt that a protest had to be made.

If however people were climbing on Jack's statue that's completely out of order and extremely disrespectful.
