Exactly right. What is the point of protesting if relegated? No point at all.

Something needs to change, simple as that. The time for talking and headless chicken supporting and blind faith have long gone.

Remove Kean. Unite the club.

to unite the club will take kean being sacked and the owners leaving!

The owners just don't get how to run a football club and it is NOT like running a business!

I have given the owners and kean a chance and both have failed massively! the performance against everton were shocking! Kean must watch totally different game to the one that the fans and the press watch!

The fans will support the team but just not the manager! Love Rovers hate Kean!!!

Hate Rovers fans? Worse than any other set of fans, who would have stormed the directors box by now.

By the way, the tshirts were put up by Glenn, hate him do you?

I admire his business mind because he knows some d*cks will buy them.

XLM has it spot on. Amen

Is that supposed to be some form of keyboard ranger threat? I hate the actions yes. Who did it makes no difference.

First sign of trouble, blame and be negative. It's always been the way, on the backs of the players and the manager straight away. Whether our manager is crap or not, whether you hate the owners or not, it doesn't matter. You love the club, you do right by it.

5 games from the end of a season where you're 2 points off the drop is not the time for some poxy protest. You all complain about Venkys and Kean harming the club, well what the hell do you think this is going to do?! Are you all that stupid.

Untill the Everton game with the game over and relegation staring us right in the face, I along with many felt that if we all got behind the team then it might just be enough and we could survive. HOWEVER, the situation that is now upon us means that unless we act now, we could regret this for the rest of our days as we watch the club we love, the club that Jack Walker loved and believed in, the club that John Williams believed could fight it out with the best on a shoestring of a budget, die. If the Venkys decide to ignore a large scale protest then that is something that we simply can't control, but if there is a slim chance that they do then it is 100% worth it. We can still back the team during the game and show them that we are firmly behind them and believe in them, but Steve Kean and John Jensen are so far from keeping this club up that we need to act. If we can build large numbers of supporters who realise that this is our last chance, to protest at the Manchester City game with the TV cameras present then it could just be enough.

I hate Rovers fans. Absolutely crap.

Our fan site has t-shirts about sacking our manager and hating our owners and the general concensus is to protest against a manager who isn't going to be sacked, 5 games from the end of the season when all it can achieve is to breed negativity and send us down. Grow the fuc|< up and get behind your team to keep us in this division!

What a load of codswallop! :angry2: ... some of the most patient fans in the country considering the ridiculousness that's been allowed to happen this season at our football club.

Many have had enough and you cant blame them.

Thankfully we are not all as stupid as you. 5 games from the end of the season is perfect timing as we can still do something about it. Let it sink in first and you might just get it.

Yeh you love the club and you do right by it. I am glad you agree. You certainly don't let any johnny come lately spoil the efforts of many over twenty years and glibly stand by whilst relegated.

The Keantards need to grow up. We know you did not like SA. We get it. We know you are disappointed after waxing lyrical about how great the changes would be. We get it, but have stopped caring.

Time to hold your hands up and say...'Guess what I was wrong. This is not working. We must change something.'

But no, that requires some common sense and intelligence so far better to sit idly by with your hands on your ass until we are relegated and then say, 'Oh well, that was a shock'.

Ermm nope, it was not a shock, we have been trying to tell you for weeks, shame you only just woke up.

First sign of trouble? There's been trouble for ages. 10 games without a win. I bet you voted to keep Kean didn't you?

KEAN AND VENKY'S ARE HARMING THE CLUB! Saying it doesn't change anything. It's obvious.

He won't be sacked and if he is, great. Then what. Jensen as manager? Get Tony Parkes back in? Nelsen as player coach? It's seriously scraping that level for a replacement.

It has toss all to do with my undying hatred of big fat, Kean has hardly showered himself in glory but we're stuck with him for the season, like it or lump it.

You can either act negatively upon the club, or do your best to act positively. Where the hell is everyone's team spirit and group mentality to get our side through it? If this is what the majority of Rovers fans condone, then we deserve everything that we have coming to us when we go down.

Supporting the team I totally agree with.

Not protesting during the match, again I agree.

But not to do anything at all - I do not agree. Supporters have a right to an opinion and to voice their concerns. Who can be happy with the current situation.

If you hate Rovers supporters - don't slam the door behind you. I believe this is a blackburn rovers supporters messageboard. Which, I suggest, has no place for those who hate rovers supporters.

Here's a suggestion.

Instead of "protesting", How about people get their heads out of their arses, support the team and wait until the seasons end to have a protest?

You never know, we might stay up. But protesting now and putting an even bigger downer on the atmosphere on match day is counter productive beyond belief.

"so you expect us to do nothing whilst our club goes down the swanny?" No, support your team and see what happenes.

Patience is a virtue.

Matchdays have been extremely well supported - more than the current incumbents deserve, actually.

How dare you blame the fans. Don't you realise patience is wearing extremely thin?

Acting negatively would be sitting there politely hanging on every stupid word issued by Kean and coninuing to believe all of it.

Nothing will change, unless something is changed. Acting positively, would be trying to assist the change.

The spirit and mentality has been cleary displayed for weeks by our fans. When is enough?

I was not happy with his appointment in the first place and that was months ago! A series of crap displays, poor performances and falling league placings later and I remain unhappy.

14 points from 48 available under Kean and no win in 10 matches may give you a clue why.

This is sad and depressing watching Blackburn Rovers fans turning on one another. If I was a rival fan I would be enjoying every second.

In my very humble opinion, we need to put our differences aside for the sake of the 11 players that will be starting on Monday, they have enough to worry about with Man City coming as well as being concerned with the atmosphere when a pass is misplaced or shot fired wide. A protest will achieve little but if people want to organise it then that is their choice, I say there is no point knowing that Kean is going nowhere.

Need I say it again. Take the manager and the owners out of the situation. Think logically. They won't leave, it isn't going to happen and if they do we're even more up the fuc|<ing swanny.

If you can't just do that then there is really no hope for you.

I am a Rovers fan, I can hate who the hell I like. I am actually shaking at the idiocy of people. Something that I care about could be put into ruin by the actions of morons and I'm not taking it lying down.

Personally I think that Ince has started to wear one of those white foam latex prosthetic face masks that they use on TV, complete with bald cap, and then snuck back into Ewood under the name of Kean for a bit of revenge. Is there any other explanation?!

Kean has to go, I'm sorry but like Ince he isn't up to the job.

That said any protest would be like shooting ourselves in the foot, we'll give him an excuse to fail - "how could we win with that kind of support". The man has to go but those with the power to make it happen won't pull the trapdoor lever this season, period. The only upside of protesting is that YOU will feel better - but that's not going to get us very far is it. Get on the players backs and they'll shirk all responsibility and hide from the ball - who enjoys being screamed at?

We are probably doomed already but we still have a sluggers chance, one haymaker from left field and who knows. Please put aside all ideas of protesting at the match, do it in emails to the media, do it en masse in the close season, berate the manager if you see him on the street but please don't do it when we are fighting for our lives at the match. Our job is to be the 12th man, let's do our job and hope that they do theirs.

As an aside - and as a memory jogger to those of you who've been a Rovers supporter for a while- when ManU got relegated in 1974 they got booed off the pitch at the end of the season, the hatred from the 'fans' had me cringing. By contrast when Rovers took their drop in the 70's the Ewood faithful sang (to the tune of one man went to mow) "when one goes down we all go down together" the team actually came out to thank the crowd and ended up doing a 'lap of honor' of Ewood, they were clapped off the ground. I never felt so proud of our support.

That's what we do and that's what others don't do, because we are Blackburn Rovers and that's the kind of people we are. I'm not suggesting this team and manager should get such support, far from it, simply that we should all remember who we are and what we stand for, this is a proper club and the supporters should play no part in dragging the team down. When the seasons over let's give 'em hell but in the meantime please just think before you are tempted to act. COYB.

It would hopefully make Venky's,hidden away in their Pune paradise, acutely aware that our famous old club is in dire danger due to their utter studpidity....and the loyal fans are not happy about it!

Yes?

And say that is realistic, which granted that would be the ideal scenario. What effect is it going to have on the fans that go, that hear about it, that are wearing these t-shirts, that are seeing these banners? One mistake by a Rovers player - a misplaced pass on the half way line out for a throw in. Boos ring around Ewood. Brilliant, the fans are ganging up on the club when it's at its weakest. You make it stronger, you don't try and cripple it.

The fans voice and support could be the difference between survival and potential oblivion.

TimmyJimmy: Spot on, absolutely spot on. Probably what I would have posted if this whole thing hadn't made me so wound up.

Good to hear,be a man....make your anger known and turn it onto Venky's not the b1oody supporters!! :angry2:

Get behind the team during the games and if needed protest after the games has been my stance.

We CANT as supporters of this towns club just sit on our f'kin hands,do nothing, and pretend all is rosey in the Ewood garden anymore,we are not stupid, deaf nor blind...enough is enough.

Can I just reiterate, the PR from our owners is an utter disgrace in all forms ,I have NEVER known anything so amateur and appalling in all my life.

I'll aim it at those that deserve it. Rovers means nothing to Venky's. It means something to the supporters and we should know better.

Waiting until the end of the season to protest is the only thing more pointless than protesting now.

If, by some complete fluke, we stay up then the cracks will be papered over, the excuses (and "I told you so's") will come out and Kean will probably been seen as some kind of hero/saviour.

If we go down it will be too late.

I don't even want a protest at all, I just want Kean out of the club and a proper manager installed. But how?

How can someone so inept and so clearly out of his depth be so untouchable? There must be a lot of out of work managers suspended in complete disbelief. I honestly don't understand it and neither do ANY football fans I know.

 So on the basis of being angry you decided to post the exact opposite to his last 2 paragraphs and declare your hatred for our "crap" fans instead? Nice to see logic plays a large part in your posts. Still don't see how you know Venkys will ignore any protests and definitely keep Kean. No pressure has yet been put on them this season to do anything different so who knows what their reaction will be? City should beat us regardless so having a remote chance of sacrificing a point by upsetting the players a bit (I doubt they'll play any different) for one game of some angry complaining in order to get Kean out and give us a much better chance in the 3 winnable games after that doesn't sound like a bad idea to me.
