Venky's break their word, again.

Sorry, that story has really got my blood boiling. Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it wont happen at some point.

In any event all the stupid bloody woman has to do is ring the Club and I'm sure if they could do anything to help they will. If the kid does get to meet the players it's a huge favour. It's not like the lad has a right to meet them, if they met every kid in Blackburn on a one to one basis they'd never have time for anything else.

Running to the press ffs. And the Citizen are no better for printing this garbage.

Message to Ms. whatever her name is (different name from son)

Bring your son to the Disabled Supporters Christmas Party in December. He'll get to meet all the players then. (And probably a free selection box)

Mind you I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't prepared to pay the £7.50 per ticket.

Shame on the Lancashire Telegraph for running the story totally agree with Revidge blue.

Hearing Plunkitt is going to be leaving the Telegraph for the BBC, looks like hes trying to put the boot in before he leaves.

Can you please tell us what the hell is happening to our club.

Two huge stories but not a single response.

A rudderless ship drifting on the rocks.

Get a life. Kean has yet to be convicted and the Givet saga is mere speculation. Lets get Sunday out of the way ffs then you can continue the whinge olympics

You think the fact that the club has not said anything is acceptable when the manager has been charged with a very serious criminal offence and the FA are investigating an alleged 'illegal' activity ?

Talk about heads in the sand !

How is that heads in the sand? that means we would be ignoring the fact it happened. We're not. We're discussing it here. What are the club supposed to say? Kean will appear in court and then it will no doubt also be dealt with by the owners. However, now is not a time to sack a manager or discipline him. And the Givet thing? What can they do about that? Whatever they say will have to be carefully thought out and checked if it's not to make things appear worse. I think we all, club, owners and fans as well as management and playing staff just have something more important on our hands than responding to newspaper stories at the moment.

I've worked in two of the world's biggest organisations and I can tell you that silence would not be the order of the day.

Similarly, if the police decide to charge Huhne with perverting the course of justice, will 10 Downing Street simply ignore ?

sometimes silence is the best way to kill the newscycle around a story.

but i don't think this is that time! a simple statement saying that BRFC are investigating the matter with urgency would have sufficed.

These two trifling matters MAY be the least of our problems come Sunday. Just think of the bitching you can do then. It will give you a stiffy just thinking about it ;)

What could they have said?

Kean's drink driving is a matter for the Police to deal with - this is being done. With such a delicate matter of drink driving, it is maybe best to keep quiet. If the club came out in support of Kean, this could be seen to be advocating drink driving. They are also not likely to come out and say this is disgusting behaviour of our manager. Kean's situation is a personal matter being dealt with by the Police.

Givet, a matter for the FA to deal with - again this is being done. Maybe the club has been asked not to say anything. It has also been reported before that Givet has a money dispute with the club.

We all want to know what is happening with the club. It can be fustrating at times not hearing anything. Football though is not like any other business, so hard to compare with how things are dealt with in other businesses. I do not think we should read anything into the silence, as there could be reasons for it that we are not aware of.

Kean is off to India for his monthly summons - would be interesting to know how they react to his drink driving - but we won't as it is a personal matter.

Lunacy to call Kean to Pune and issue that statement in the Sun this week of all weeks.

"Venky's are not surprised about the revelations in The Sun and would not be surprised if there are further revelations of wrong-doing prior to our purchase and ownership of the club."

If I were Wolves, I couldn't believe my luck at how badly this week is going for Rovers so far. 1960 and all that...

Wouldn't it be ironic if your "sources" were using you as a conduit to smear Venky's to distance themselves from acts committed by the previous regime?

Have you considered you might be being played?

"Don't tell anyone the truth, you might get sued".

Does that statement not concern you?
