[Archived] MESSAGE TO VENKYS

Recommended Posts

Ive just spoken to the ticket office and told them not to process my 2 season tickets (mine & my son's)until further notice.

I would expect a lot of fans will be holding on until we can see some positive movement regarding transfers not signing sh1t players we dont need or want

Really really sad when that happens. I live in the south of England. Would love a season ticket each and every season. No matter who the owners or the manager are, or the players in the team in the squad. I am a Rovers supporter. I cannot justify travel costs to come up for each match - so come when I am able. take in a few away games, especially in London.

If you are a Rovers supporter and are able to afford a season ticket - are able to get there - not hindered by work / family etc reasons. Then you buy a season ticket.

I have my views on the owners and the manager - views I am entitled to have, even if others do not have them. But I would have a season ticket if I was in the position to do so. I do not want venkys / Kean or any other owner of Rovers or manager of the team to fail. Because that means the club and the team fail. Even though I want them, venkys and Kean to be a success, sadly I do not have the confidence that they will be. But I would still attend if I could.

The money paid for a season ticket, goes to the club.

I hope you and others reconsider and get your season ticket. The club can do without the owners and Kean. But it cannot do without the supporters.

You talk as though Rovers would automatically renew it without your consent. You aren't that special and Rovers aren't that desperate.

If you don't want to renew then don't, Turf Moor's only down the road. Mug.

Very sensible approach. Venky's have been promising all manner of things since they took over and with an alleged transfer pot of £20m this summer plus the money from player sales now is the time for them to deliver.

My message to Venky's with regards to the thread title is simple: show us the money.

Not sure if you've written that just to get a reaction, but by the same token you must have made that trip to Ewood 3 or 4 times in recent years, because positive movement in the summer has been thin on the ground to say the least.

The ticket office must be sick of the sight of you

Those that keep talking about not renewing season tickets and not going why Venkys are here all i can say is dont bother coming back at all we are supposed to be fans of the club not the owners if you dont want to come to games just because of who is in charge you are not real fans of the club real fans get behind the club through thick and thin of those that were here prior to jack walker remember plenty of the thin times but was still our club

Ive been a season ticket holder since I was 14 so thats 16 years PAL!!!! What has been happening with our club over the past 6 months in unheard of. Everything is quiet down at Rovers at the mo. They need to start letting us know what the plans are to replace players etc. How would you feel if they sell of Samba, Hoilett, Olsson etc etc etc and bring in utter sh1te players? you would be very disheartened so pipe down matey.

Ive got some more forms printed signed and ready to send off when our beloved club actually shows some ambition. At the mo it just looks like asset stripping does it not?

You have to give rovers your consent to process the season ticket dumba$$ why do you sign you john hancock on the dotted line?

The signature is giving them CONSENT to process the form and take the money. Mug!!!

If you don't fill out a form, or contact Rovers at all. They WILL NOT renew your season ticket. Simple.

So your trip down to Ewood/phonecall was pointless.

Cheer up.

Oh and just a quick question whilst you're here. When did the Walker Trust ever tell us what the plans were to replace Duff, RSC, Bentley etc?

In your own time. :tu:

It's weird that nobody has said they aren't renewing because we have Indians in charge.

Statistically speaking that's unlikely (that nobody is against Venky's for that reason).

Oh you want the racist card playing do you? Why? You really are one pathetic person...not one person has mentioned but you have to try and poke the hornets nest.

Why do people keep taking this out of context?

We don't HAVE TO SELL. That's the difference.

But when players (like Jones) want to leave, we have little option but to take the money and run.

If you're going to continually give release clauses, then don't say you're not a selling club.

Your evidence that this was inserted by Venky's was from Andy Cryer.

It was pointed out later that he had said he believed a lower clause has been inserted by the Trust.

Why are you picking and choosing your sources based on what they say at a particular time?

All available evidence and common sense says he must have had a lower one previously.

What were they supposed to do?

I didn't mention Venky's. I was talking about whoever negotiated the release clause this time, or any time.

You're getting paranoid Bucky. Xenophobia as well eh?

What do you want them to say SG? what would the Walker trust have said?

Comparisons with the Trust are pointless. They would NEVER speak about anything, that was the role they took. Venky's are 'hands on'.

Previously John Williams was given free reign to be chairman, chief exec and proxy owner all in one- now what would HE have said is the question.

We have no intention of selling Jones, furthermore we believe that Jones will be here forever. Any monies from the phantom sale, which will never happen, will be buried in a very large chest on a beach in Jersey - this is for the purpose of keeping it dry only, not that we plan to keep it.
