Plastic head certainly has a few points, I think we will see in this window if or not Venkys have learned anything at all and if Kean is capable of finding his own players and not neccessarily the ones who will lift Venkys profile in South America, that itself tells me much of what they feel about our football club and one reason I will be totally wary of them and their associates.

They do seem to be improving but thats because they have kept their mouths shut and refrained from silly contradictory statements.

Unfortunately, they have now got Kean speaking of Champions League etc. Lets walk before we can run, we were doddering last season and we must now learn to walk again before we even consider the stupidity of predicting a top 6, 8 or 10 finish.

To coin a football cliche, take each game as it comes and see where it gets us.

Heres hoping but at the moment, I wont hold my breath.

I think we have to wait until this time next year to say for sure if venky's is going to be a good or bad thing.

It appears some on here have eiher decided or genuinely believe that the current owners should be deserving of support and are somehow on the right track.

But lets look at what has happened so far:

After they buy the club they make it clear that they have never been to a football match and know nothing about the club or the town. Did they even know relegation happens in the Premier League? Or did they confuse the EPL to the IPL.

They use advisors who anyone could have told them were greedy and self-serving and would take them to the financial cleaners.

They have the perfect ally to educate and advise them on all aspects of the club and English football but when he offers an opinion he is kicked out as soon as is decent.

They sack a manager who whilst not everyones cup of tea would have certainly led the club to a respectable position for the next couple of seasons at least.

Statements keep coming out of Pune that are frankly embarrassing, so over-optimistic are they.

They employ a manager who would not get a similar job in the top 2 divisions, firstly on a caretaker basis, then despite a poor start on a lengthy contract. He obviously is devious and cunning enough to tell Venkys what they want to hear and they believe him.

Then in the January window the bulk of our budget is spent on SEM players who we hardly ever see before the season ends. J Jones apart the window could not have worked out worse.

Then we have the disgrace of Andersons son joining the club (which was my personal last straw).

They then boot out Tom Finn and leave the club without a leader.

Then we are linked with another bunch of South Americans and dodgy eastern Europeans.

After that the Phil Jones farce.

The players obviously either don't like or don't rate the manager and I give them great credit for their professionalism in getting their act together in the last few games to creep us into safety, reverting largely to tactics Sam would have employed. Kean obviously knows he doesn't have many allies in the squad and i'm sure would be more than happy to move some on and bring in the Kentaro brigade.

Venkys clearly haven't got a clue what they are doing with OUR club.

After 36 years as a season ticket holder I don't know whether I will be at Ewood in 11/12 or not, but I will certainly not be giving any support to Kean and Venky's. Quite the opposite.

Those whose opinion is that we should ignore all the above and turn up as we always do without voicing our concerns are frankly not helping the club in the long term.

And as for sniping at sports journo's (who you can see from previous posts I have no respect for at all) who dare to be critical, I think if they really knew what was going on at Ewood even they would find it incredible.

I can't be bothered to read the 200 odd pages of transfer talk as no doubt we will end up with whoever Anderson wants us to have. Who else is going to select targets, Kean? Venky's? I don' think so.

Message to Venkys: Sell up and go back to Pune.

You said I had a HARD on over what the venkys had or keep saying.somehow the brothers defo don't give me a hard on .they may stir your feelings hughsey but not mine.

Why is it wrong to believe what they say? Can you prove they tell lies?

Did they or did they not say on TV that this seasons would result in us being 8th AND a cup win? My sky + said they did! Did they promise marquee signings? Did they want ronny,becks,riquelme etc?

Did they say all this Hughsey yes or no ?

Don't disguise it paint over it blue tint or whatever just answer .cheers pal.

No mum on TV it was matter of factually..end of day if they REALLY want what they say THEY want then they need to buy the likes of adebayor and spend OBSCENE amounts of money. That's not me being spoilt or FM'ing its fact.They can't take on the big boys without spending big.As jerry McGuire said show me the money.I don't care if we played non league footy I'd still go.however they say big they need to back it up.

I think looking at the Givet situation it's apparent that things were not 100% squeaky clean, ironic really that a number of posters are questioning Venkys and their relationship with JA!

So for the last couple of months it's all been negative talk which I can understand. Venkys have made mistakes over the last six months. The biggest one was sacking Sam. I hope you are not just saying these things over the last couple of days just what the fans want to here. It is going to be a hard task to convince big name players to come under a rockie manager. Although there was a lar of improvement under kean in the last 4 matches. The jury at the moment under venkys is out untill September 1st. Let's see what they do

Everyone makes mistakes, I just want to feel proud of my football club again and a little bit of that has been lost since Venkys took over.

Hopefully we can see sensible/logical decisions on/off the pitch.

He knows he got mugged off for the nth time. This time by a man Utd supporting, cowboy hat wearing woman peddling conjecture and rumour. She hadn't been audited by KPMG so maybe you can forgive him this time.

Exactly. We lost our way last season amongst all the confusion and unrest. Hopefully some lessons have been learnt by the owners about how to conduct themselves and what is expected and required in this industry.

We need a decent start next season to generate some momentum and then take things from there.
