[Archived] MESSAGE TO VENKYS

Recommended Posts

Heard some positive things about Venkys this week.

Also, I'm not going into it but it seems as though Venkys found that the club when they took over, was not as clean behind the ears as some on here believe...

I don't think for a moment that Williams and the board were perfect, but personally I'm not going to lose respect for what they created and achieved at Rovers based on the latest rumour of the week.

I thought Mrs D said we would not be as reliant on Kentaro a few months ago? However if reports are to believed they are still heavily involved - what did she mean?

IF we get the players in this week that have been mentioned does it really matter who is involved ? I don't think venkys are in the business of wasting money, I don't think they are going to be taken for a ride like some people are saying.

All this hysterical claptrap about Kentaro is wearing thin agents are involved in football transfers there is no getting away from that. If it weren't Kentaro involved it would be someone else.

At least we know who is involved now, I would rather have this situation than some tailor in Manchester setting up deals.

There are people that have had there nose put out of joint because there mates no longer have a job at the club now but it is time to move on and see what happens.

If it all goes Pete Tong then by all means lets go nuts and point the finger but until then lets have a look and see what will happen.

Good to hear. For better or worse Venky's are our owners now and we should give them all our backing to make the club a success. They have been on a steep "learning curve" since December but they are astute business people who will have learnt fast. I expect us to make significant progress on and off the field next season and look forward to a bright future with our Indian paymaster over the coming years. It's an exciting time to be a Blackburn Rovers supporter - better than at any time since the start of the Jack Walker era.

We have owners running around like demented chickens and that is a reason to be positive.

As this is a 'message to venky's thread. My message is "sort yourselves out or sell up"

No need to foam at the gob, he's trying (failing)to be funny. Not that you need any excuse to have yet another pop at Venkys or Kean. Change the record.

Why should I change the record. Thought this was a message board where we can all post our opinions. I have said for awhile that as things stand I do not have any confidence in the owners or the manager. An opinion I am entitled to have. If you want to go with the sheep then you do so. I am waiting for the owners to do something positive for the club. The transfer speculation is just paper talk as far as I can see.

People on here fail to see logic. Why would the venkys or any other owner want to use a load of their own dosh to fund transfers and wages of players? I believe venkys plan loading the club with a load of debt - as that is the only way Rovers will sign these so called big name players. The home grown rule appears to be going out of the window. The wage to income rule also appears to be getting ignored.

Given they have had 10 months and nothing has gotten sorted?

Venky's it's high time you met a fan or two, I dare you.

I think it is high time they put the club up for sale. They are clearly out of their depth in the football world.

Christ if this is how they work and run things I'd be changing that statement to 'they are clearly out of their depth in the world, period.'

May be a time for a new thread, titled, VENKYS PLEASE SELL THE CLUB or SOMEBODY PLEASE BUY THE CLUB OFF THE VENKYS.

You've got to be realistic PAFFELL. Who the hell is going to buy us?

We were on sale for 4 years last time. Why did it take that long? Because there were safeguards in place. That would't be the case if Venky's sold up- enter the likes of Ali Syed, 'Bernie Madoff of India'.

A man can live in hope can he not. Safeguards last time???????? if there were any, these clearly failed.
