Dear Venkeys,

Wonderful press from one of you about a 17 year old becoming part of the board when he turns 21, means long term commitment. That fantastic.

Commitment means more than hanging around like a cancerous mole though. I can commit to do absolutely nothing for years on end, I can actually commit to breathe for the entirety of my life.

What I am getting at is - while you staying around is fantastic, please do something of merit whilst you are here. Bring a little joy to the fans. It does not have to be big, I can promise you that. Just because some got delusions of grandeur with fifty million pounds being touted as they transfer budget. Yeah, like we knew that was going to happen, right?

Anyway, we are sadly lacking in many areas of the team which are still being ignored, and actually worsened. Please address this.

Oh, and fire Kean. Please. I could imagine a future when we finished 12th and that was shot to pieces when 50 million came off the table.

Yours most lugubriously,

Rebelmswar, esq.

I couldn't think of anywhere else to post about this, but a shame that Dr Batty decided to leave the club today and join Man City.

Quite a few of the backroom staff (non-coaching) have jumped ship to City over the last 6-12 months, we're almost becoming their feeder club.

I heard that 3 days ago. The man was quality, and if he wasn't then what's he doing at City? Maybe he lost interest. Just like John Williams.

Stil, it's all good. Just give them time.

Everyone who was good for the club has gone, Venkys please sell up and let the club become our club again, you have in a short space of time created total chaos in almost everything you touch and have destroyed our once proud club, please go back to where you came from, look after your chickens and leave our club alone, Please!!!!!

Oh and before I end, there will be another departure quite soon too :angry2:

I can't speak for Dr Batty, I have no idea why he chose to leave Rovers, but I know a couple of lads who made the same move in the last year personally and their reason for leaving Brockhall was down to how the club was being run under Venky's and the direction the club was heading.

I know why he left, thinks Venkys are complete muppets and I completely understand. Most people connected with the club are telling me that.

Oh and by the way, my message to Venkys, thanks for my making me very angry.

I was going to put this in the "for sale" thread but its just been closed. The following is from today's LT:

"The Indian poultry giants bought Rovers from the Walker Trust back in November 2010 and, having outlined their ambitious plans for the future on numerous occasions, remain fully committed to taking the club forward and achieving their vision.

They have made a healthy transfer fund available to Kean for summer squad strengthening and, as they close in on Monaco defender Cedric Mongongo, look forward to their first full season in charge."

So today's message to Venky's, and the LT, is simply this why make statements we know to be false?

Venky's have never outlined ambitious plans for the club and have not made a healthy transfer budget available. It will prove to be the standard £5m plus, if we are lucky, the Jones money.

These assertions make me cross as they are clearly untrue.

LOL, I can't say the extra 4 years of studying really appeals. However if they want a performance director???

Not sure if this is the place to post this but earlier today I bought a season ticket at the Etihad Stadium..................

Bloody United fans.

Possibly for Batty, not for the other lads I know - in fact one took a paycut to join City, due to how things are/were at Brockhall where they deemed the club was heading.

What I don't get about the pro- and anti- Venkys debate is that the vast majority of the actions since Venkys took over seem to have been detrimental to the club.

In the anti- corner:

Manager

Backroom staff

Boardroom

Players

Sponsor / Kits

Fans / season ticket sales

- Changes to all of these appear to have been too fast, badly handled, downgraded, reduced or still not resolved. They seem very keen to minimise costs (by lowering quality) yet not so good at maximising revenue (unreasonable expectations?).

In the pro- corner:

- They have maintained the season ticket strategy introduced by the previous regime. A requirement of the sale? Unlikely. An olive branch? Possibly.

- They say all the right things, whenever called to account.

- They supposedly have a great deal of business acumen.

- They are probably better than the alternative.

For me though, actions speak louder than words so I'm really struggling with the pro-Venkys argument at this stage.

Can`t argue with that statement.

If Venky`s aren`t 100% committed to this "project" then it just isn`t going to work.As Alan Nixon said this looks to be a really good summer potentially for us with regards to signing players as a lot of mid-table clubs will struggle to splash out decent money on players.

If Venky`s representatives do read this message board then i would say this to them:

"Actions speak louder than words and respect isn`t given,it is earned. If you want to get the supporters on your side then you really do need to start taking some positive action with regards to club staff and playing staff. The majority of Rovers fans want you to succeed as there is the potential to do something really good here for both Rovers as a club and Venky`s as a business, but it won`t succeed without somebody taking direct leadership and make the decisions that need to be made. The importance of speed cannot be emphasised enough when negotiating transfers as word will easily get around to other agents and clubs.

Make the decisions Venkys and you will stop the ridicule that you have earned at the moment and then you will start to get some respect."

Venkys, my message to you is this - I hold contempt for the way you are running my football club. You are a complete disgrace and dragging this proud club through the gutter. Why can't you just run us normally?

Not wanting go back over old ground, but why were the questions now being asked of Venkys in such strident terms, not being asked of the trust in similar strident terms?

Seems to me that it was just a whinge back then, but now, it's an all in "out to get you" tirade.

An observation, not a comment.

Did the trust sack the manager, assistant manager, lose the chairman, managing director, club doctor, assistant fitness coach, did the trust make comments and decisions which have been depicted throughout the football world as making our club a laughing stock?

Did the trust sack a perfectly good manager and appoint a complete novice?

Did the trust sack two of the best administators around, and not replace them?

Did the trust know anything about football?

Did the trust employ a single agent to manage their transfer dealings?

Did the trust release lies and contradictory statements about transfer targets?

Did the trust set completely unrealistic tagets ie. top 4?

Did the trust have staff leaving the club as they were unable to work with them?

Answer these and you will see why the same questions wer not asked of the trust.

A club employee in an important position at the club has told me several times that no matter how chaotic we outsiders think the club is at present the realiity is much worse.

I'm afraid support for the team needs to be put on the backburner until we chase away these people or there will be no team to support before very long.

Both comment and observation.

Fairly apt.

Funny (or its not actually) how the consistent communication at the moment is that the club is a complete mess behind the scenes (plus our owners are so farfetched from reality it is scary).

Must be a hell of a lot of people with this “agenda”….
