I got the reply 'usual ones' - which I think means the 2 brothers. But this is the 1st time there has been no JA....

But is he not likely to be in the country anyway - so could turn up anytime. Anyway why would he need to be there - there is no transfer activity.

Not before time imo. The owners turn up just as we are getting to safety. Where have they been? didn't want to show their faces incase of a backlash from the fans.

Kamy, what have they been doing at Ewood and Brockhall?

meeting Kean and Tom Finn?

meeting Rafa maybe?

Too many people thinking a home win against a woeful Bolton equates to safety.Wrong thread I know but you did mention it!

Had a working luch yesterday with a well known Businessman who has, over the years, seen lots of changes within business and industry, the conversation got on to Rovers and whilst he is not a Rovers fan, I posed the question of our owners, his answer was one word, 'Embarrassing' when I asked to whom, he said to football, to proper business people and to their country, indeed he has a major client in India who feels that quite soon the true situation at Rovers will be revealed over there and it will damage Venkys reputation enormously.

That is a widespread perception throughout the sub-Continent. The share price tanked from over 700 to under 500 following the Rovers acquisition and has only recovered in recent days following their decision to pay dividends.

Just a word of warning to everyone, the grotty stuff still has not come out.

Funny you should say that. I haven't mentioned it on here yet, but at the Bolton game I heard that the club is back up for sale - this was heard within the last week by a wealthy businessman from the ribble valley who has connections to the previous owners.

I'm not saying I think its 100% true, but that's what I heard.

Like any business venture, Venky's will want the best possible outcome for Rovers, both on and off the pitch. But let's remember how much of a culture shock this has been for them, and a massive learning curve. It just so happens they've taken bad advice from people they trust, which is expected when these same people helped them to secure the club in the first place. My only hope is that this season will be a small step backwards followed by two giant ones forward.

Philipl - I've gone through a number of threads and you keep alluding to bad stuff relating to Venky's but without any sort of back up. Can you please stop, as it makes threads unenjoyable to read and is a shame because I agree with a lot of what you say when you aren't scare-mongering.

Instead of 'Something scary is going on but I can't tell you', why not just let everybody form their own opinion? And don't claim the victory just because some bad stuff comes out, because it'd probably be something completely different to what you currently allude to. We wouldn't know any different, because of the lack of info in your posts!

If they have a murky past, so what? Lots of people do, but are perfectly well-rounded human beings after lessons are learnt. Instead of scare-mongering, just let us judge for ourselves without shoving your own (with no evidential back up) down our throats. If you are going to do that, at least back it up!

we sort of expect those so it's not that that Philip was referring to I don't think. He's far more likely to be talking about financial matters than player departures unless they are linked, like we have to sell them or go into admin
