Gumbi
Going by the possible sponsor rumours and from what has been said about the away kit I've come up with this.

Iceman
I'm hoping its not Cobra. While It looks good, it will prevent me from buying a shirt, due to my religion.

Iceman
What religion is that? Muslim. I'm in the small minority, maybe the only one. if its Cobra, and everybody is happy with it, then great. my only hope, is that if it is an alcohol sponsor, that the shirts for the young kids are sponsorless
S15
So you're not allowed to even wear clothing with an alcohol brand on it?

Iceman
So you're not allowed to even wear clothing with an alcohol brand on it? no not allowed, as it would be like we are promoting the product. anyway, I dont have any issues if it is Cobra, apart from me not being able to purchase a shirt. so don't read too much into it. IF its announced that it is Cobra you should email the club and ask them if you can have a shirt with out the Sponsor on it.
Stuart
I'm hoping its not Cobra. While It looks good, it will prevent me from buying a shirt, due to my religion. I shouldn't worry too much Icers. Chances are it won't be Cobra. Point is though, with the right sponsor (shirt partner?) and logo design we can have a very classy looking shirt. But with the wrong one can look awful. Don't you have a title-winning shirt, by the way?
Iceman
please don't get me wrong, if its an alcohol sponsor, so be it. Just that I wont be able to purchase with the sponsor on. I also don't like the idea, of a 6 month old baby as an example, with an alcohol or betting sponsor. I would rather have the kids shirt, without the sponsor on. I shouldn't worry too much Icers. brian_gallagher85
The kids one will not have a sponsor on it if we are sponsored by an alcoholic drink as the EU passed legislation on this a few years ago. I remember the last Carlsberg kit Liverpool had was like that. O think gambling might also be covered under the same law but not sure.
Roverite28
^^ What he said. Kids kits can't have booze or betting sponcers on. My lads forest kit is blank for example.

Mike Graham
Don't worry. The new shirt sponsor is going to be Lees Chippy from Cherry Tree, Blackburn. The players numbers will relate to order numbers from Lees menu; for example: David Dunn will wear shirt # 67 which is "Deep Fried Chicken with Fried Noodles". Robbo will have #1 which is "Large Chips" Keith Andrews will have #99 which is a "Buttered Barn Cake" and Roberts will have #47 which is "Squid with Black Bean Sauce - not too spicey". All to be announced at lunchtime opening today. You read it here first thanks to an inside sauce.

Hughesy
Cant see it being an Alcohol firm, after they rejected betting firms for ethical reasons. We need to be sponsored by Pataks or Uncle Bens to promote it back in India
