funny-old-game Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 We could have Ryan Nelson as stand in manager till the end of the season as he has the respect of the players and I bet he is a tough cocky that wouldn't just stand on the touch line with his arms folded like Kean, but would get ever ounce out of himself and the players during a match. God we need to try anything as Kean is taking us down!!! *

Amo Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Replace inexperience with even more inexperience? Good call! Nelsen will be there in the dressing room, rallying the lads, anyway.
funny-old-game Posted April 21, 2011 Author Posted April 21, 2011 I appreciate what you are saying but we are well and truly in the brown stuff now and to get a proper manager in is too later. Nelson being in the dressing room in completely different than being on the touch line showing passion, because footballers are strange animals and respond to proper leadership which Kean obviously doesn't have! Having played semi pro in my younger days this sort of thing happened a few time and did get a good response from players lets face it we can't be any worse off than we are now!!!!
Andy Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I got all excited until I clicked the topic and realised it hadn't actually happened Although I'm not a fan of inexperience, I think Nelsen will command considerably more respect and response from the players that what Kean ever will. I think Ryan could get the lads really fired up for the upcoming matches, though the big question would be over his tactical knowledge.

OhmiBRFC Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Some people are really grabbing at straws now You took the words right out of my mouth!
tony gale's mic Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Ryan Nelsin's been with us for 6 years and still people can't spell his name right.
LeChuck Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Replace inexperience with even more inexperience? Good call! Nelsen will be there in the dressing room, rallying the lads, anyway. My thoughts exactly.
funny-old-game Posted April 22, 2011 Author Posted April 22, 2011 So everything is fine and we keep things as they are! CHRIST!!!!
Lathund Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Ryan Nelsin's been with us for 6 years and still people can't spell his name right. Friedal, Ollson, Kalanac and Pederson should be in the running as assistants to Nelson.
OscarRaven Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 What about a text vote for picking the team, with Tony Parkes deciding the tactics? We could have the fans forum deciding when to make the subs...
McClarky Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Replace manager with no experience with another....great idea. Better to bring back Brian Kidd.
funny-old-game Posted April 22, 2011 Author Posted April 22, 2011 Sorry, I get it now, everything is fine with Kean in charge and doing nothing will get us out of this mess, I don't know what I was worrying about, so I can now sleep well at night till the end of the season!
John Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 It will be fine, Kean is learning from his mistakes the whole time so should improve - who knows, might even see Jensen (who is Kean's assistant by the way) moving on the touchline soon instead of sitting there idle.
LeChuck Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 So everything is fine and we keep things as they are! CHRIST!!!! Who said that?! The Steve Kean topic shows 90% of people want Kean sacked, just not using your stupid idea.
funny-old-game Posted April 22, 2011 Author Posted April 22, 2011 OK enlighten me then, what should we do?
LeChuck Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Hire anyone with a good managerial record in the Premier League then review the situation in the summer.
