Biggest game for years.

Win and I think our 38 points and goal difference will be enough.

Lose, then it's all over. The team will be demoralised for the last three.

I think we will win and I'm going for 2-1, after a few scares!

After the City performance and Bolton getting bounced at Wembley and Fulham, I'm positive about today, we HAVE to be.

Back the boys today, the guys that have stated that it's the biggest games in x, are bang on the money, so so need this today.

I'm hoping Sturrige is out, he's a big miss for them, lets also hope the ref keeps an eye on dirty cheating fat bloke up front for them as well, he should have been sent last against France, that tackle was a disgrace!

What's the news on Sturridge, heard on talksport that he is more than likely not playing, can anyone shed any light on this?

Heard it all before. Will only believe he isn't playing when I don't see him on the pitch. Here's hoping...

Lovely day for a footie match. COYB :rover:

This represents our best chance of winning in our remaining 4 games. I'm praying to god with Junior back we can actually create something and put the ball in the back of the net, I expect kally or rochina to start up front RSC and big Jase just aren't working or scoring they must be dropped

Come on rovers time to step up to the plate

There's a flaw in your argument and I think I've just spotted it Phil. :D

Only joking. I've already said in another thread (before the Chuckle Brothers barged in) that this game has got 1-1 written all over it.

I hope you stay up - and I'm not too bothered about losing this one if it helps you stay up.

Wolves, Wigan and West Ham (please God, make it so!) for the drop for me. Blackpool should be twitching a bit too. I think you'll make it.

Then you've got the major problem of sorting out your ownership and managerial shambles before next season. Hold on to your hats! The louder you scream the faster we go!

Zulu, I SO AGREE with you on the West Ham referral, I hate them with a passion!

Let the owners know that they are making a big mistake?

If they even listen, then what?

Unless they have a fantastic manager lined up who is willing to take a huge risk by taking the reins in our current predicament it's too late for them to do anything anyway.

*Shrugs shoulders*.

You asked what it might achieve and I told you.

I'll say this, although changing managers this season is completely out of the question, never, ever underestimate the power of the fans. If/when they decide he has to go, he'll go.

So why is he still here? Emough people have been saying for long enough that he needs to go, and even those who weren't convinced earlier have been sayinng it for some time now, so why, if he'll go when the fans want rid, is he still here?

So why is he still here?

Because the fans at Ewood haven't vented their anger yet Gumboots. Maybe they never will, but if they do there will only be one outcome.

and contrary to some peoples concerns, a few of us moaning on this site makes no difference to anything.

I've just got two extra tickets. It didn't sound like there's many left in the home areas. No BE or DE, restricted views only in Riverside. Nowt at BE of the Jack Walker, had to settle for two DE Jack Walker stand.

If Notlob had sold out we'd have been looking at 30K plus.

I love the positivity on here regarding this game, it's good to see the fans pulling together and really making sure that at least we're doing everything we can as fans to help the team. Regardless of what happens come the end of the season, all our fans deserve to be congratulated for the amount of energy and enthusiasm that we've invested into the club in what has proved to be a very difficult time to bite our tongue's. Somehow, through all the mess this season, the fans have still come through shining and mostly united, which is something you can't say for many clubs throughout this land, even those teams who are in a much more comfortable position than ours.

It's also great to see that the fans are getting behind the team for today and snapping up spare tickets even if they are only cheap. We need those extra fans and let's hope they can make a difference today. I urge anyone with a few quid to spare to also get a ticket for the Hammers away next week. That game is crucial to how our season pans out, more so than this one and you get the feeling that every extra fan could make a massive difference. Wouldn't it be great to secure survival against the Hammers with them going down?!

As for today, i'm going for a draw, i'm hopeful that we can scrape together enough points to stay up, but this is a tough game today and just because it looks like our 'easist' fixture from our last remaining games to play, Bolton will love nothing more than to put a dent in our survival plans. An early goal will be crucial and could see us win the game but it's going to be tough.

Leave nothing at home, folks!

Rovers to win 2 0 today. As to Bolton being happy about sending us down, I doubt that. I think both clubs like the local derby - especialy for the gate receipts. I think it is good for both clubs to be in the same division.

Easy to answer that one. It's due to that fact that Ewood celebrated a draw against blackpool like they won the EPL.

No we celebrated scoring a goal deep into injury time to salvage a point and stop Blackpool getting 3. Easy to criticise the Ewood faithful from abroad though eh?

I'm still confident of a win today but part of me thinks this could be the last time we have a 3 o clock Saturday kick off at home in the premier league for a long time.

I have no doubt Sturridge will start.

Still saying 2-0 Rovers.

Hoilett may not though, rated as doudtful as sturridge is for Bolton - so never know they both may end up playing.

If it was a hypothetical case of both or neither I'd have both on the pitch any day, Hoilett looks our only route to goal in open play.

A friend of mine just texted me and said "there's a surprise in the line up today". Does anyone know what this could be? He won't tell me!

I'm thinking Rochina but i'd love to see Formica at some point.

The return of Keef

I don't think he's daft enough to play Formica as he knows ge's setting himself up for criticism from the off, Ruben starting is quite possible I imagine.

Maybe its our Keith.
