Phil Jones, for all his potential, is still only 19 and has yet to complete a full-season for Rovers. It's ridiculous the obscene amounts of money spent these days to poach young stars who have not made a proper name for themselves. But hey, those are the times.

They chose to buy a football club and therefore are responcible for it. Owning and running it correctly would bring its own rewards - even if it is just advertisement for venkys. A successful football team in the premiership, again brings its own rewards.

But as things stand at the moment, venkys running of the club has been seen as a laughing stock throughout the media - not just on this site by some.

Even remotely considering selling any of the best crop of young players Rovers have had for awhile is madness. Also, I consider being considered a selling club, not good publicity for any owner, not just venkys. If venkys have the money there should be a not for sale sign up on all the players we would prefer to keep at ewood park.

Sell the likes of Andrews. But continue to build a team around this group of young players - not sell them. Which would mean having to start again to build a new team.

Apparently not. There's a YouTube clip on here somewhere where Jones can be seen running towards the bench at Wolves celebrating, he runs straight past Kean, turns round and sticks his tongue out at him behind his back. Also a bloke in the pub told me that Jones actually signed his new contract "A. Chicken" but seeing as no one is around to check these "typos" anymore it wasn't picked up. Dalglish is aware of this and is prepared to offer us Jamie Carragher (52) in a direct swap.

The end of season spirit that we saw that was shown from the players, was a collective decision taken by the players to do it for themselves, the club, and the fans, and not for Stephen Kean. Important Please note !

This i'm reliably told has left young Phil feeling totally humiliated and devalued in front of the rest of the squad and this kind of comment has happened several times to which Phil now feels that Kean is going to destroy his confidence sooner or later.

From whats been said it feels like we've got an absolutely great bunch of players here at the club and credit to them all for pulling through and young Phil needs some senior figures at the club to look after him.

My source, a certain ex-manager that Phil Jones has played under told me last week at our offices that Mr Jones is very happy at the club and has no qualms with the management having spoken to him only a "few days" ago.

Finally, are you that naive or stupid to believe that a manager will go up to his OWN player, whose probably been our best player since his return from injury and say "oh yeah you're not good enough to play for a CL side". I'm not sure whether you have noticed, but Kean came out early last week stating he expects a battle for his 2 star defenders, and a bid above our record transfer fee would be the starting point of a bidding war, that goes to shoiw how highly he rates him.

Perfectly honest, I don't think he is good enough for a CL team YET. He has the potential but still 1 or 2 seasons away from being CL quality IMO.

In the era of Twitter, Facebook, IM and the like, hearing something from several different directions is no longer indicative of it being true. And since no-one has named their source, we do not know the number of sources
