Go and support the Dingles you muppet, and all the rest who are saying you might not get a season ticket,how can a club the size of ours stop anyone going to Man Utd,all you can do is get the most you can get,and 16 mil is a decent price.

Whoever is behind that Samba account just put Verified into where Lance has "Austin, TX".

Someone also said that Jason Roberts said on twitter that the account was fake.

The reason is that it's Man Utd. I reckon within a few months of next season he will be called up to the England squad and will be talked about in glowing terms.

He doesn't get that here and never will.

I'm not the least bit bothered by the fact he's gone, it’s not worth getting wound up about.

Phil Jones you're nothing more than another premiership mercenary, motivated by money, and care nothing about the club that developed you or its supporters.

I could care less that he's gone. We've lost a good player but we'll get another one. Maybe not tomorrow, but we'll get one.

As far as calling him a mercenary and caring nothing about the club. Professional football is a cut-throat business, I don't blame him one bit. I wonder what Michael Potts has to say about it? The club had no qualms about offing him after years of service, as they deemed him not good enough. Did the club show any loyalty? Did it b@lls.

interest in football really on the wane.....delighted it ain't spuds but just sickening its united, and while he's still a teenager, not even a good couple of seasons from him before the inevitable off.

Pressure on whoever does our transfers to make sure we do a million times better than the likes of kenny miller,...

don't really wish bad things on the lad,.......but i really need united to go bankrupt to get my love of the game back.

Gutted tonight. Just shows there is no loyalty in football anymore. He's played less than a season and jumping ship. Even local lads see us as a stepping stone. Disillusioned with football tonight.

don't wish the guy injured, but i'd love him to absolutely fail at united worse than bentley at spuds or roque at city....just send the message to the rest that our best players really are only any good when they are here.

if an offer is made that matches his release clause(16 mill,reportly) then it has to be accepted, if there more than 1 offer it would just be a case of which club jones prefers

i think hed be better of at liverpool to be honest, there desparate for a top quality centre back and leaders, unlike man u that allready have ferdinand,vidic,evans,smalling(and prob a few more youngsters of there own waiting for a chance, kenny seems to be trying to build somat special at liverpool(built around british players which is great to see).

STONE. He probably saw that we had a good academy, thought he would get a few games then move on.

I think that's a bit harsh. The guy was never seen as the big talent, it was Hanley they were raving about and then Jones had a game and something just clicked for him and he hasn't looked back since.

I was angry at him at first but I can understand his thinking, he may only get 1 chance to move to a big club. If he stayed he could do a Matt Jansen and never get the move and the ultimate chance to prove yourself on a world level. There is no loyalty in football and we all should accept that, it died a long time ago. I hope that Jones can come back to us when Venky's have us in the top 4 and Man U go bankrupt..... :huh:

Hanley as never really impessed me, seems ok but not anywere near samba,jones,nelsen level of ability, hopfully though he wiil have learnt a lot this year and will step up a notch or 2 next season.

is Zurabs contract up this summer, iv always thought he makes a good reliable backup player(though, prob would want 1st team football at his age)
