quality player and was always to good to stay with one of the 14 teams in the relagation fight every season,he is a centre half and will be as good a player as bobby moore,mark my words

Its only superb if Rovers can bring someone in who's of the same or better quality. Definitely not as a stand alone deal far far from it .

That goes for any deal, in that it's who you buy to replace someone, however would you not agree that our management has done a superb job in getting 20 million and a 20% sell on clause for Jones?

Why because I don't believe that he's so good that he's priceless as JAL said?

JAL doesn't think Jones is that good. He's just using it as another excuse to sound off at the owners.

He didn't see any potential in the guy and wrote him off prematurely, like he does with so many of our young players (Lowe, Hoilett, Olsson). But decided to jump on the bandwagon when anyone with half a brain could see Jones was quality.

Jones wasnt 1st choice defender....Samba & Nelsen fit, he doesnt play centre back - fact!

For midfield next season, we need midfielders not a defender.
