Mattyblue Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Great first half. Dire second half. Awful substitutions. That was torture. Pretty much. West Ham were there for the taking, appalling at the back. Keano did his best to have us lose it. Unreal. However, it is a point closer.

Kelbo Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 and not 1 shot at robbo? get a grip man. Have you been watching the game pal, not one shot at Robbo? www.specsavers.co,uk
barry_ Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 When is the last time we won at West Ham? A number of posters were predicting losses before the game, one said 4-0 to West Ham. We played some good football and earned a well deserved point. The frustration stems from keeping the game contained at 0-1 and then 2 poor substitutions which have contributed to us dropping a potential 3 points and leaving us still in danger of being relegated. Managers live and die by their decisions and it would seem that Kean... time and time again... just does not have enough awareness to make a difference. WOLVES AWAY
Hughesy Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Lets not forget so many prior to the game said they would be Very happy if we went and took a point and stopped West Ham winning - we did that. 1 game closer to the end, West Ham still 6 points behind us, with 6pts left to play for & 9 goal better GD. Next week Wigan v West Ham will either ensure West Ham go down, or Wigan cannot catch us either! 3 pts for Spurs later and its been a good saturday again! MOTM/ Post match thread opened
DP Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 We were lucky in the end (Keane's miss...) but perhaps that's something we've deserved these last 2 games after some decisions against us over recent months The Andrews sub wasn't nearly as bad as the Santa Cruz one. It totally undid any good work Kean did in setting up the team. One final comment. Although he's easily the least gifted of all our strikers, Jason Roberts puts himself about and leads the line better than any of the others. And has done for more than a couple of seasons now. Samba simply immense. Let's hope the press spend all summer talking about Phil Jones because I'd be gutted if we lost big Chris.
The Harwood Yankee Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Note to the Venky idiots... This is what happens when you employ a @#/? to manage a football team. Hope the PC brigade dont edit this post as it sums it up perfectly! Winning and all set to virtually secure our Premiership status and Kean takes off best player Hoilet and goalscorer Roberts to replace with lazy couldnt care less Santa Cruz and officially the worst player ever to wear a Rovers shirt Keith League 2 Andrews. Cue a West Ham equaliser and we're back to sweating it through the last 2 games. The next game will be amusing - Steve Kean vs Alex Ferguson. I dont know whether to laugh or cry?!!
mattyc2422 Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 RSC, Andrews and Diouf shouldn't be seen again this season.
