I would hope this means Tom will step up but I fear it more than likely means Paul agnew is stepping up and Paul Hunt will take on his duties mayebe.

Is Chief Executive not an interchangable name for Managing Director?

Under normal circumstances it wouldn't be unknown, however note the words "normal circumstances", not a phrase associated with goings on down at Ewood these days.....

Does this mean that Tom Finn is the new Chief Executive then?

Also what is going to happen to the current head of commercial and marketing Simon Williams tho?

Lets face it the chairman is Mrs D, the new Chairman will basically be "shadow chairman".

Kean has more power then a Chairman now (excluding venkys).

'Normal organisations' don't announce new structures, hierarchies etc from 'bottom-up'

Well you can't have a deputy chief exec, without having a chief exec. So who's that going to be Kamy?
