philipl Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 This will be a very simple MUST WIN. I fully expect Wigan and Brum to win today so a draw at Molyneux will probably send both teams down. We know how to beat Wolves, we have the better team. We have the worst Manager and the officials ill be against us. Fascinating if it were not for it being such a stomach churningly important game. Come on Rovers!!!

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I think they will take United v Blackpool (Trophy presentation & relegation battler) and then it depends whether they have 1 more or 2 more they can show. If so I reckon Wigan as one our game as the 2nd one. They'll go for the red rats v B,pool I think.
47er Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Our next weeks, most important game in years! Yep--we've had a long sequence of them! Sadly, not a winning one.

Come on Rovers!!! MUST WIN?? No its not. Its a MUST NOT LOSE. Blackpool must beat Utd at Old Trafford first up for anything to really change. Wigan must beat WHAM today and then beat Stoke at their place. IF those results occur then so long as we dont lose against Wolves, we still stay up. Our goal difference means that even if 4 teams end on 40 points, we stay up. Wigan must win both of their games and Blackpool must beat Utd for our result against Wolves to have any serious meaning. I honestly feel that point yesterday may well have sealed it.

duffbear Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 spoke to Phil Batty yesterday (club doctor) if Samba would be ok for the wolves game and he said he will have to wait for for it to settle down before having a scan, spoke to Samba as well who confirmed he had a groin injury not hamstring like what has been reported in the press. Spoke to Rochina as well and he said he would be out for 2-3 months Spoke to Vince Grella who said he was retiring * *last statement may have been completley made up
Glenn Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Last few time I've been to Wolves we've moved from the Goalposts (used to have to hide your colours to get in) to the Great Western by the startion. Good mix of home and away fans, real ale and decent enough food and no agro.
Backroom Tom Posted May 15, 2011 Backroom Posted May 15, 2011 I'm sure this will be on TV, it makes sense seeing as both teams will go down, they will have this and Blackpool to maximise the potential 'bloke in facepaint in tears' moments
AggyBlue Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 This will be like Anfield in '95, more time spent listening to the radio than watching the game.
Josh Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Luckily my Dad isn't going so I'll be receiving constant updates from around the league. Time can only tell if that will be a good thing or not
Ossydave Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I think it'll be more a case of skysports centre on iphones this time round....
Guest Wen Y Hu Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 m1st has just posted his match preview here, so if pre-match discussion could move over there, please. Thanks.
