Had a chuckle at this chant from City fans to United

'You've got a sh*t scarf

You've got a sh*t scarf

F**k off back to Norwich

and take your sh*t scarf!'

very good! how odd is it gonna be for norwich fans when they go to old trafford next season! haha

Yes TimmyJimmy our most skillful player maybe seeing him line up against the Champions to be would have caused more uproar than him playing for the reserves. Playing Samba, Jones, Robinson would be reckless. Playing a promising young player to get him match sharp isn't too daft of an idea.

Slag the bejeasus out of me here, but I've got a decent feeling about this game.

BLACKBURN ROVERS 1 - 0 Manchester United

Christopher Samba

There is quite a bit of history with this fixture and I think when United won the Premiership in 1994 they celebrated winning the title after playing Rovers at Old Trafford. They then hit the nail into our coffin to send us down to the Nationwide League in 1999.

That is the above history where United have fired success down the gauntlet and into our faces. The squad of this season are professionals and do you honestly think that they are going to let Fergie and his shower of sh1te get away with the embarrasing 7-1 defeat?? United have far better quality but there will be a huge fight in this game with Robinson getting MoM.

So, not needed for the 'big' match, just let him score his two against their reserves - who incidently will majically become the first team against Blackpool. And ... match fit for what, there's only two games left. If he was down to play in either then why toss him into a reserve match? If not then what is he getting fit for, the beach?

Managerial Handbook - Lesson 1.

Don't put your most skillful player into a reserve match a few days before battling for survival in a crucial Premier League match, he may dislocate a shoulder.

Donut!

If the lad needs gametime to get match fitness I can understand it...

email I have just received from Rovers regarding the email I sent of fans details trying to sell their home end tickets to Utd fans

Just to keep you updated we have now stopped a number of tickets for Saturday, including those below, where we have had the conclusive evidence of the sale/attempted sale with no cash re-imbursement. The longer term dealings with these people will be addressed later.

Thanks for your vigilance in this matter.

for one its a bit unfair to Hoilett who has proven himself as a top flight player, to say Rochina is more skillful... and furthermore If he doesn't play in that game and score twice then very few are clamoring for him to get the start this weekend.

He's a fringe first teamer in need of game time. Made complete sense. Criticise Kean all you want but at least think these things through first.

im glad to see the club cracking down on away fans in home stands.what a pity for the last 10 or so yrs its been ok for the club to be happy to sell the box in the blackburn end to away fans for 5 or so games a season.so i take it we wont have any utd fans in that box this sat?

Have met 3 United supporters over the last couple of days on separate occasions, one whose organisation is very closely linked and as such enjoys certain 'privileges'. What came across is that yes, they are very confident but not 'cocksure'. Feeling was that Fergie would want to do it 'in style' and that Sam's sacking was still festering.

Three decent blokes who, I must confess, have heightened my concern.

It could be a difficult afternoon.

Come on Mercerman are you really influenced by what people say?

Of course United want to win I don't see how it could be any other way

And of course it will be a difficult afternoon we are playing the champions elect.

No I am not. But what came across was a steely resolve. One of the blokes travels with United in Europe as a 'spin-off' of his organisation's involvement with the reds. Consequently, he's built some very close relationships there and he's sensed a determination to win and to win in great style. The feeling is, get it done and dusted then focus on Barca - it aint rocket science but unfortunately we are directly in the firing line.

i don't believe it - you sad ###### ######................

life time ban please you R soles

how long will it take you this time?

You really don't get it, do you ?

Organisations pump hundreds of thousands of pounds and even more into the coffers of O.T.. They want something for their bucks! United reciprocate by giving them the 'red carpet' treatment eg places on the plane and at the team hotel for European away matches with first class stadium seats. These are taken-up by key personnel and key customers of that organisation. I've experienced it and it's fantastic!!!

Let me tell you, these organisations get real spin-offs, real tit-bits and establish real relationships. United do this like no other club in Europe does!!!
