Tim Southampton Rover
Kuszczak is certainly giving Sir Alex a good reason why he should never play for United again. Let's hope we target this more. N'Zonzi lucky not to give away a freekick on edge of area and being sent off just then. He needs to be careful on a booking. Same with JJ.
slough_rover
Sugar Blackpool have gone back into the lead.
Tim Southampton Rover
Half time lead. We've been excellent since we scored. Before that we were slightly edgy and stood off too much. Well done lads! 45mins to go!
Backroom DE. Posted May 14, 2011 Backroom Share Posted May 14, 2011 Wow.... really couldn't have asked for much more from Rovers that half. Exceeded my expectations hugely - we've played some lovely stuff and the first ten minutes apart have defended very well. We look comfortable, Utd look complacant. Ferguson has perhaps made a mistake picking too many players who know they'll be playing against Barca no matter what. My fingernails are already gone... imy9
Well done Kean and the lads-great 1st half now same again please!
Bobby G
Bolton and Sunderland doing us no favors means that we desperately need to hold on. Blackpool will be on 39 points and Wolves on 38 as of now.
Raymond Rover
Couldnt have asked anymore from the lads that half, keep it going now and no stupid subs this game please Steve.
RibbleValleyRover
Happy with the scoreline though perhaps we have been a tad lucky going into the half leading despite United's dominance in large spells and Nani hitting the woodwork early on. Hoping Rovers can put on a stellar defensive performance in the second half as United will surely throw everything at us after the break.
imy9
Blackburn 37 -13 42 Birmingham 36 -18 39 Blackpool 37 -21 39 Wolves 37 -21 38 Wigan 36 -23 36 West Ham 36 -23 33 Current table, we need Bolton to draw at least and Sunderland to keep it as it is. Tim Southampton Rover
I think Andrews will score the goal to guarantee us to stay up. 30 yard drive into the top corner Anyone else think either JJ or N'Zonzi will get sent off. They look a bit too happy to lunge in despite being on a booking.
John
Worried about Jones and Nzonzi both on yellow cards, need to be careful.
tony gale's mic
Man Utd have had the better of the first half, but then that was expected. They haven't exactly been testing Robbo non stop.
martmitch
no complaints about the performance first half - we are defending well and are not letting the game be compressed right into our own half like we normally do the moment we go 1 up, they key to getting through this is to not give posession straight back bit concerned either JJ or nzonzi will be sent off, the smart moneys on nzonzi! Bobby G
Big game at Bloomfield Road. Will be cheering on Bolton to hopefully come back otherwise it will be tense if United score a goal, which by all accounts they can do as they have shown in turning many games around including away at WH and Blackpool just to name two. Tim Southampton Rover
If we lose and the other teams win then god help us against Wolves. Such a HUGE 45 minutes for Rovers.

Crazy how right now we're safe with a potentially memorable result but in 45 minutes we could easily only have a 50/50 chance of staying up. Still, we can only control what happens at Ewood and right now that's going very well.
martmitch
cant keep giving it straight back to them, gotta keep posession when we get the ball!

Tim Southampton Rover
J.Jones has been fantastic today at closing down and winning the ball. His passing hasn't been great though. Bolton equalise.
