Roverdale Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 This ticket selling is actually putting me off going and I never thought I'd be saying that for a game like this

Mercer Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 This advert has now been deleted. Could it have been my E-mails to the seller, E-Bay, and Blackburn Rovers? Could have been but unfortunately it may only force those minded into 'street trading'. Good work but I'd be mindful to go around broadcasting what you've done as there are some real morons about.
3rdpillar Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Bit of a *unt* trick, but if you know the seat number of not your favorite Rovers supporter, may be the fat guy that keeps pushing past you, of the git that keeps standing up through out the game. You could get them refused entry for the game.....like I said bit cu**s trick.
BPF Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I've been offered £600 now for tickets. Manchester United fans have too much money and too loose morals. I'm devastated to think that I might be sharing the Blackburn End with a shedload of plastics. It just goes to show what the difference is between a real fan and someone that follows it as a hobby.
3rdpillar Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Simple, report any Manc. Then Video the stewards not acting on your advise. The take Venkeys to court for not protecting you against 'orrible Mancs abusing you. Surely BRFC have a duty of care to protect our season ticket holders from violent situation. and if you can demonstrate they dont act upon advise. we could take action againt them. If the stewards do act and throw out the Mancs then you got to be happy with the club. Win Win, bit like a 1 - 1 draw.
Sysagent Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Will the Darwen enders be missing for this, the final home game of the season whilst the Blackburn enders cheer and fight their corner against the Mancunian scumbags. Jesus Christ give it a bloody rest will you... I am sure the ones who can afford to purchase a ticket for the event will have already done so and will be cheering and fighting for OUR corner against the "Mancunian scumbags". p.s. Excellent preview there Mr Fleming!

Glenn Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Guys, we know everyone is trying to do their own bit in their own way to stop Rovers fans selling their tickets, but United fans are watching this (and every other) Rovers forum looking for tickets (that's why I wrote my guide) and there are Rovers fans who are only going to be more more tempted to sell their tickets as they see more people doing it (and hear what people got for City tickets), so give it a second before you post and think about who is your post really going to benefit
m1st Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Excuse my language, but FFS! This Message Board now has an advert which invites us to join the waiting list for a Manure [2011/12] season ticket! Could be an expensive way of getting into the Darwen End for at least one game next season!!
CAPT KAYOS Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Doubt much will stop people if they want to sell - given what has gone on this season (there are alot of p#''## off people). If anything, unless somebody is caught in possesion of a season ticket or quite obviously sat in the relevant seat number, it will be very difficult to monitor. If the Citeh game is anything to go by, hardly any of the Citeh fans where sat in seats anyway. In addition, it could be the scenario of Reds everywhere outside the ground and rushing the gates as Citeh did, as these will need to be opened at some point unless there is some very serious organisation in place (or Rovers actually manage to win). As for reporting tham don't make me laugh - the stewards can't even cope with somebody lighting up a fag in the toilets. The fans have been sold down the river this season - right or wrong - they may see it as pay back time.

Given the number of Mancs who will be reading this looking for tickets, I'd say Google (who generate the ads, we don't get any say, or even know what adverts you've been shown) are probably being quite clever
jim mk2 Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 1 SOCCER Blackburn ROVERS 'FURIOUS' AS FANS SELL ON TICKETS Blackburn have warned their supporters against selling season tickets to Manchester United fans for the crunch fixture between the two sides this weekend. United will secure their 19th league title if they avoid defeat at Ewood Park on Saturday, while Rovers are looking for a positive result as they continue their battle to avoid relegation. The sale of tickets to United fans could mean some supporters are not segregated, causing a security concern. A statement on Blackburn's official website said: ``Reports that some Blackburn Rovers supporters are 'selling' their season tickets to Manchester United fans ahead of Saturday's Barclays Premier League fixture at Ewood Park have brought a furious response from the club. ``Club officials - fully supported by Lancashire Police - warn that everything possible is being done to minimise the illegal practice and stress that any offenders will face strong and appropriate action. ``Rovers have information and intelligence of season ticket holders selling their tickets directly to United followers - there is even evidence of season tickets being advertised on the internet.'' Blackburn managing director Tom Finn said: ``This is a very disturbing situation, not to mention a criminal offence, and a situation we could well do without leading up to what is a massive fixture. ``We are currently monitoring things very closely and, where necessary, will cancel the season tickets, so denying entry to the stadium on the day. ``It also goes without saying that we need as many Rovers fans inside Ewood Park on Saturday as we can.``Fervent home support has worked wonders for us in recent years and we need it again now.''end
Blue n White Rover Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Hoping we can get a draw in this game. United need a point to win the title, and we need a point to survive. If the game is still 0-0 after 70mins, I can't really see United pushing for the victory and expose themselves at the back. A defeat would mean they would have to put out a strong side against Blackpool to get the job done. This could hamper their hopes of winning the Champions League.
Amo Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 The players need no motivation for this game. Premier League survival and the chance to scupper United's title party. Bring on 3pts!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I've written a guide to the buying and selling of tickets for this game at http://www.brfcs.com/rovers-vs-man-utd-tickets Very nicely done Glenn. As I say, worse case scenario this game and you can see problems on the day.The complete simpletons giving away their telephone no's and even showing the season ticket card on e-bay must be nuggets after the warnings given by the club.
1864roverite Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Quality read as usual. Not going to be a happy Rovers day I fear. United willno doubt win with some dodgy refereeing cock up. Please keep Andrews off the pitch and away from my great football club, do not ruin my last home game of the season, its been poor enough fayre as it is. For any Rovers fan who deems it appropriate to seel their ticket to scum pure shame on you. i hope beyond hope the club identifies you and bans you forever. All united knobs who infiltrate the home ends should be identified and evicted.

des Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 a point for both sides will do, so a draw it will be, but a win would be great just to see man utds faces
DadandTheLad Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I'll be coming to my first ever Rovers game with my son thanks to winning a competition a couple of months ago for a pair of tickets. Let me say first of all there is NO WAY any of these plastics will be getting the tickets. Apart from being unable to stand the sight of them it's totally immoral. Right, now that's over with let me just say how much I'm looking forward to the game. It's my boy's first ever Premiership match and he's thrilled! Looking at your games this season (from highlights) and reading the forums on here I'm guessing the manager and Keith Andrews aren't popular and young Hoillett is your hope for the future. I've followed Michel Salgado's career with interest and his column in FourFourTwo is enjoyable so I'm looking forward to seeing him play too. Finally, is your catering okay? Given the time of the kick-off I was thinking we'd just eat lunch in the ground.
ABBEY Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I'm sure I added something to the posting guidelines about publicly dissing Joy Division being a banning offence .... and if I didn't ... I should have. Go check out Love Will Tear Us Apart and Atmosphere too. joy division =
ABBEY Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Wash your mouth out abbey!! why? because i puked and tastes bad?
Mercer Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Phil Dowd down to be the Ref for this one Specially hand picked by Fergie !!! We might have difficulty keeping 11 on the pitch. Unless I'm mistaken, in his last two matches involving Rovers, he's sent off two players (Niko @ WBA & Nzonzi @ Arsenal).
