Something just struck me for the first time and I have to say its knocked me sick, the mere thought of this possibility is enough to send me to bed early and hide in a darkened room until after the weekend. Saturday could be the final premier league game at Ewood park for the forseeable!!

I've not actually considered it before and still firmly believe we will avoid relegation, however when reading the preview I thought ooh last home game of the season eh, then it hit me like a train. What if the worst happens, it could be the last prem game I see at Ewood for a while. Terrible terrible evil thoughts that much be banished.

Specially hand picked by Fergie !!!

We might have difficulty keeping 11 on the pitch.

Unless I'm mistaken, in his last two matches involving Rovers, he's sent off two players (Niko @ WBA & Nzonzi @ Arsenal).

But should have sent Carragher off against united for the tackle on Nani.

To be fair it's got to the stage where any ref picked we could moan about with good reason.

Incidentally I said on Twitter the other day that if we lost and stayed up I wouldn't care, I'd take anything as long as we stay up, after seeing this Vinjay replied saying I don't care about Jack Walker, he seems to believe Jack only wanted to win the league to get one over on United and doesn't understand that these days they are pretty much nothing but a relatively local rival now. We all have a dislike of them but the feelings of 95 no longer have any bearing.

I have a horrible feeling for this, 3 points would be good in so many ways (improve our survival bid, giving a blow to Utd's title bid, motivating them properly for the last game against our relegation rivals) that we simply have to miss them.

This will not help matters either on Saturday!

"For those watching the game on television, keep a good focus on events because we`d imagine there`ll also be a fair few United supporters gathered on that hill behind the only stand at Ewood not to have been rebuilt during the Jack Walker era.

Standby for the peaceful invasion of Blackburn!

Don't know why, there's been trees up on that hill for a good few years now. So there won't be much of a view!

More the likely aggravation and tension it will create.

I know you didn't write that mercerman, but being a regular at Ewood you'll surely have noticed the hill isn't really a vantage point these days due to the forest thats grown over the years

Due to all this fuss, it's probably a good job that this is a 12.45 kickoff. Whilst I'm sure a lot of Mancs will just jump on the train for the crack, had it been 3pm or 5.30pm there would have been far more and they would have been in a far worse state.
