I'm not sure if Venky's will want to be seen to be paying a bar tab given the culture they are from, to be honest, so certainly no complaints from me regarding no free beer.

Same here, plus I doubt the previous owners will have included beer either, in the event of trouble people would look at the 'free beer' and blame the club - not the thing they'd want to promote.

No complaints from me either, it's a fantastic gesture!

Hindu's drink alcohol!

It's probably illegal to give free alcohol away with a football ticket.

Chill out. I'm allowed to be racist aren't I?

I have no idea what religion they are haha. I made wild presumptions, and I'm not proud of that fact :P

'the anti Venky's faction'

who are they exactly? Or are you referring to fans that are rightly annoyed with our half season collapse and their numerous PR gaffes?

Superb gesture by the owners…..So for anyone attending, they have effectively saved you £23 each for the game. That’s good going for ANY football club.

So now we can all get smashed in the pubs & get free grub on the owners…..Cheers Venkys!!

Not exactly TS - I think it all depends on an individual viewpoint.

The point last week will only appear vital dependent upon Sunday's results.

I was actually very very disappointed with both teams last week and find it disgusting personally(also find it very alarming that 'match fixing' has not risen its head) - for 5 mins or so I can understand - but 20mins+

Nobody mentioned about going gung ho - UTD had not exactly looked like scoring a hatful on Saturday before the penalty despite their attacking players - there was opportunity to be taken - we had attacking options on the bench also, maybe not the same level but still attacking options and we where at home and our last home game of the season. Two games out maybe but with only 'last chance saloon' a possibility at the time anyway, I would have preferred a more confident attitude to have been shown.

Not a guarantee we would have scored - but I would still have reckoned on us getting a draw still if we had (as I was confident before the match of getting something) and a win would have seen us safe - as it is, we still have to make sure of our own result before others - the same as what it would have been if we had got beat.

The way the none entity is going on - to him a point is all we will need which suggests that is what we will be playing for - still dangerous in my book and as I say although the odds are unlikely is not something I feel we should be adopting.

In am relatively calm also for Sunday as relegation doesn't bother me but nobody wants to be relegated at the end of the day regardless , and although I still think we will get beat as I have posted before, cannot see everything going against us.

My only worry is should we be losing and the results are against us I don't feel we have it in us to actually do something about it as has been seen when going behind in games all season.

I imagine they'll run out of food pretty quickly so the majority of fans won't get to use theirs. Nice gesture though. They should have given an option of a free pint or the £10 food voucher.

There's always one.

Sorry bit of a cock-up. Yeah we should have gone for it, what with Shearer and Andy Mac up front , Bentley and Duffer out wide and Dougie pulling the strings in midfield we're sure to have gotten that all important goal! Let's get real just for once this season- We've scored FOUR goals in the last SEVEN whole games, that is FOUR goals in the last TEN and a HALF hours of football. But you're convinced there was another one right around the corner if only we'd have tried a little bit harder for the last ten minutes. What can I say ? Dream on my friend.

Just a little Premier League factoid for the faint hearts on here- Of the 20 teams to go into the final day in the bottom three but with a chance of escape only 6 have survived. Of those 6 only one team West Brom in 2004-2005 has not been third bottom going into the final day.

Think I might head to Blues. I want to be surrounded by people who feel the same.

Hopeful for some serious celebrations afterwards. I have a sneaky suspicion we might just bag a cheeky win, but I'm not going to put money on it.

Was not nervous this week but after the confident pre match talk of 'no mention of relegation' and healthy budgets I am now officially worried. Yes we are in a good position, yes the odds are in our favour BUT we have to get the job done ourselves and forget next season. We need to focus on beating Wolves on Sunday- nothing else matters right now.

Its very unlikely that we'll be relegated. That's from a logical point of view. But I would be a lot happier if it were impossible!

I don't understand the point of this post.

I felt very heartened by Phil Jones' tweet:

'Don't worry 3 points are number one priority this weekend'.
